Much bigger than standard Japan hotel rooms. The double included a 2-3 seater sofa and table. Both rooms had good air conditioning. We arrived by car and the parking was free. The staff are incredibly helpful. We booked an extra night in a different room and the staff moved all of our luggage for us as well as some drinks we had left in the fridge. The hotel bar is fantastic and we were well looked after by the staff. The cocktails and whisky selection was amazing. The staff and locals were friendly and we shared many stories together. A taxi to the centre of Kyoto was approximately 2000 yen. The hotel helped organise luggage transfer back to Tokyo which made our commute from Kyoto to Narita and then to our hotel much easier. The hotel is close to the station and provides a regular, free shuttle bus. To-Ji Temple is well worth a visit and is within walking distance of the hotel. *Photo shows the double room.Show More
