The bed was a california King. Mini bar was sparse but we didn't really use it. Fruit in the room was sparse. The staff were always smiling and very helpful, as well as the Buggy(golf carts) operators to take you where you needed to go. It is essentially all walkable, but in the beginning we were under a tight time schedule for the wedding preparation leading up to the wedding. The Chapel was beautiful and the setting magical! The A/C could handle the heat from the all the glass on a sunny day. Luckily, we didn't have any rain for the ceremonies. The real negative is the towels & robes had been washed so often they were like cardboard. Disappointing since you would expect a 5 star hotel would have lugerious fluffy quality. We had a half bath and a full bath. The food was quite good and the breakfast bar (from 6-11am) has a wide range of food types & was quite a spread. You can find just about any kind of food style, all very good. While the hotel boasts of 5 dining areas, they are not what we expected. There were really only 2 full style dining rooms. The others were drink bars, or specialty like the breakfast type. NONE of them are air conditioned, which was surprising as hot, and especially humid, that Bali with a beach is. The low tide is not swimmable. The checkout was disappointing. When we checked in, apparently the desk clerk undercharged us slightly. They never contacted us about this, until we went to settle the bill and we had flight to catch. Even though it was their mistake, they insisted we pay the difference, about USD 100. We even spoke with the manger but they continued to refuse to credit the difference. Sadly, it left a bad taste in our mouths (and for a 5 star hotel...this should not have happened) after such a beautiful wedding & time at the hotel.Show More

From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was neither seamless nor welcoming, setting a poor tone for the rest of our stay. Our room had a persistent moist smell coming from the wood, which was unpleasant and unexpected in such a high-end property. To make matters worse, during lunch at their Missoni restaurant, we suffered multiple painful insect bites that lasted throughout our stay completely unacceptable for a reputed resort. We also found a lizard near the pastries in our room, which was especially disheartening as we were celebrating our anniversary. Service throughout was subpar: the buggy service was repeatedly late, and the reception was unresponsive, making us wait over half an hour just to inquire about our resort credit. Despite reporting all these issues to the duty manager, we only received standard, indifferent responses with no real effort to resolve or recover the situation. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of care or attention from management. We left the property feeling neglected and unimportant, with no one even approaching us during check-out to acknowledge our experience or concerns. To add insult to injury, my email to the General Manager remains unanswered. Overall, the Ritz Nusa Dua failed to deliver on service, hospitality, and guest care. For the price and reputation, this was deeply unsatisfactory and left a lasting negative impression.Show More

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and professionalism of your staff. Everyone we encountered greeted us with smiles and genuine hospitality, making our stay truly memorable. During check-in, we were welcomed by INDAH, whose bright smile immediately made us feel at home. At check-out, seeing us, she came over right away, which was such a delightful gesture. We also deeply appreciate the support of your Japanese-speaking staff, WENTEN and GENTA, who kindly assisted us whenever communication in English was difficult. It was reassuring to know that we could always find them for guidance. I would also like to mention ARI, whose cheerful and friendly presence brought us great comfort, even during small mishaps, such as being momentarily forgotten at the lounge check-in. We were surprised to learn that he is a young intern, yet his calm, professional, and sparklingly enthusiastic manner was truly impressive. His exceptional service gives us every confidence that he will become an outstanding hotelier in the future. We are also grateful for the room upgrade and the late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay despite the rainy season. The level of care, empathy, and genuine service provided by the staff exceeded my expectations or something we experienced before. The team went far above and beyond their duties to guarantee our comfort and well-being, especially regarding our strict dietary restrictions. I would like to highlight the true heroes of our stay: • Beyana Restaurant: Our deepest thanks go to Chef Suyana, who took personal responsibility for managing our diet. His dedication was incredible, ensuring every meal was not only safe and delicious. A huge thanks also to Ms. Rossi and Ms. Arni, whose service in the restaurant was warm, professional, and attentive. • Beach Grill Restaurant: Special thanks to Chef Detok.
