The staff and rooms never disappoint. We are quiet and tend to stay to ourselves as I have mobility issues. We like to be able to book a room where we can have some comfort when relaxing before bedtime. It's nice to be able to have a couch to sit on while watching TV. The elevators are fast, the rooms are clean and perfectly decorated for its age and the water is hot. The temperature is controlled by you and quiet. The pool and sauna were clean and perfect for relaxing. Didn't go into the exercise room but the staff was welcoming; and extra clean towels were provided. Next time, we plan to try the restaurant for an evening meal!! The menu looked really good and the prices fair. My husband had a breakfast sandwich downstairs while I slept in and he said it was good. Appreciate not being charged for breakfast when we don't always use! Everything was spotless in our room and it was quiet. The reception has to be the most thourall that I've experienced. They don't forget a thing and are very educated on the Yarmouth area. Pleasant and willing to help!!show more

The staff was absolutely Amazing! The check in desk associate (male with brown curly hair) was equal to the quality of professionalism found in the top hotels in America.. The food at this hotel was terrific. The server at dinner was all alone with a dining room packed. She held her own, kept her cool, and managed to maintain a high quality service… bravo, young lady! Breakfast the next morning before our ferry was met with another capable, professional young server. The bed was perfect, the water pressure strong, the hotel was extremely clean, the pool area was really nice (we didn’t use)… and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The seals in the harbor were so fun to watch!show more

I cannot do anything but highly recommend the Rodd Grand Yarmouth. The morning prior to our arrival, my wife became ill requiring us to change all plans (we were in Halifax) and head for home in Wisco...I cannot do anything but highly recommend the Rodd Grand Yarmouth. The morning prior to our arrival, my wife became ill requiring us to change all plans (we were in Halifax) and head for home in Wisconsin- rather than wait for the ferry to Maine. Rodd Yarmouth graciously refunded our full room rate. Other hotels we had booked with were not so gracious. THANK YOU!show more
