It’s a 5* boutique hotel in the centre of Rome. If you’re looking for something larger and more impersonal, there are other hotels but if you’re looking for somewhere high end, well located and more exclusive, Roma Luxus is your hotel. Location - great spot. Really close to the Colosseum but ultimately walking distance from everything. Food - the breakfast room in the hotel is beautiful and an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by trees and vines, it’s a really nice spot to start your day. As a scrambled egg snob, I was pleased that it was rich and runny. There’s also a breakfast menu on top of the buffet. The restaurant at the front of the hotel is busy day and night and the food is superb for lunch or dinner. Rooms - our room was great. Spacious and nice touches with Aqua Di Parma everywhere. The room could be a bit brighter but it’s probably just mood lighting. Service - every staff member was so friendly and welcoming. It’s only a matter of time before Roma Luxus is picked up by an Instagram influencer so I’d suggest visiting before it goes viral. Great hotel, would definitely visit again.Show More

When my wife and I got there, to our surprise, we got upgraded with no extra cost and the staff was incredibly kind. I’m so used to rude American standards and average desire to go above and beyond. But the staff here gave us so much information on everything we needed about Rome. When we got to our room, the view from the massive swing windows were phenomenal. The dinner was a bit pricey. But the complimentary breakfast way made up for it. Wonderful breakfast! If we come back to Rome, there’s no doubt we would stay at this property again.Show More

However, my concerns were completely unwarranted - we had a great stay for one night after getting off our cruise. We arrived to smiling and courteous staff. As a matter of fact, the staff was fantastic during our stay. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed that, as well. Only small complaint was our terrace room was darker at night than we would have liked. Also, the large hot tub took almost 45 minutes to fill (we kinda gave up). Aside from these 2 small issues, we would definitely return.Show More
