The...Excellent Stay with Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended for Families I stayed at this hotel in November 2025 during a family trip and was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The location is extremely convenient — directly connected to the MOKO Mall, which makes shopping and dining easy, with many great restaurants nearby. It is also linked to Mong Kok East MTR station, offering excellent accessibility to the rest of the city. Our room with a double bed was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The overall condition of the room exceeded expectations. Security was also outstanding: elevator access is limited to guests with a room key card, and in the evenings, staff were stationed at the elevator hall to monitor access, which added an extra sense of safety. Whenever we needed anything during our stay, the staff responded promptly and efficiently. What impressed me most, however, was the exceptional service after our departure. Upon arriving at the airport, I realized I had accidentally left my car key in the hotel room. I contacted the housekeeping team, and they immediately took the necessary action to locate the item. Since I couldn’t return to the hotel due to my flight schedule, I asked if they could send it via post. I was truly reassured when they promptly replied with detailed information comparing various delivery options, including cost and estimated delivery time. I would especially like to thank Janus Ho, Karmen Cheung, and Daisy Kwan for their outstanding professionalism and kindness throughout the process. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, safety, and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to families traveling to Hong Kong.Show More

The location is excellent, right above the MTR station and connected to a large shopping mall. We received an upgrade with a separate shower, which we really appreciated. During a previous stay we had to shower in the bathtub, and that’s not very practical at a certain age. Check-out is quite early at 11:00 AM, which is something you sometimes see, but it still feels a bit rushed. The pool area was the part we enjoyed the least. There are specific time slots when you are allowed to enter, and the rules feel quite strict. You are not allowed to walk outside with your pool slippers, and you must go through a mandatory shower first. For women this often means wet hair straight away, even if you only wanted to relax on a sunbed. When we opened a can of cola that we had bought downstairs, two pool attendants immediately came to tell us that only water is allowed. They were polite, but the whole atmosphere feels a bit controlled. It’s a pity, because the pool itself and the sunbeds are actually very nice and well kept. Overall, a good hotel with comfortable rooms and a perfect location. If the pool rules were more relaxed, this would be close to a perfect stay for us.Show More

However, I’ve been quite disappointed by the lack of response from the reservations team. I first sent my booking enquiry on October 18, followed by two follow-ups on October regarding a quotation for two rooms. Unfortunately, I have still not received any reply or even an acknowledgment that my emails were received. Disappointing is that I had recommended the Royal Plaza Hotel to another family who plans to join us this time. I wanted to book two rooms for them and for my own. During my previous stay, I was advised to contact the hotel directly for the best available rates instead of booking through other platforms — but this experience has made it difficult to do so. It’s surprising that a hotel of this standard has such poor responsiveness to returning guests. Who can I get in contact with? I truly hope the management reviews their customer service process, as this kind of communication gap can easily turn loyal guests away.Show More

The offer clearly stated that guests who book at least 45 days in advance for four or more conse...I’m very disappointed with how Royal Plaza Hotel handled their “Early Bird 4-Night Hot Deal” promotion. The offer clearly stated that guests who book at least 45 days in advance for four or more consecutive nights would receive an additional discount. I planned my stay from December 24–29, 2025, meeting all the listed conditions and attempted to book well within the 45-day period. However, the hotel refused to honor the promotion, claiming it was “closed due to no quota available.” This “quota” condition was never mentioned in the published terms, which simply required a 45-day advance booking. Even after raising the issue and requesting management review, the hotel insisted on its “final decision” without offering any fair resolution or goodwill gesture. For a property of this caliber, such an inflexible and unclear approach to promotions is disappointing and undermines guest trust. Royal Plaza Hotel should be more transparent with its promotional terms and ensure that guests who plan and book in good faith are treated fairly.Show More
