The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. It’s located right in the center of Ramblas along the main street. The rooms are tiny with no room for luggage or to maneuver. The maid service ...The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. It’s located right in the center of Ramblas along the main street. The rooms are tiny with no room for luggage or to maneuver. The maid service seems to skip on hand soap, toilet paper, and other essentials that most hotels provide without having to ask. The included buffet breakfast is just OK at best. Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel was completely renovated in the last two years so it is very clean. The last day of our two night stay I asked for a 2 hour late check out because our flight home did not depart until 6 PM. Even though the room was not rented, they insisted on a €60 charge to add 2 1/2 hours beyond the 12 noon normal checkout. I have never experienced that at any other hotel when the room I was vacating was not rented. The next time I visit Barcelona, I will definitely stay in a different hotel.Show More
