Just checked into this hotel and feeling short changed.
I booked a 7 night stay at Sacha’s Hotel Uno on 7th August. There was a separate listing on Agoda the for the lower end Sacha’s Uno Express...Just checked into this hotel and feeling short changed.
I booked a 7 night stay at Sacha’s Hotel Uno on 7th August. There was a separate listing on Agoda the for the lower end Sacha’s Uno Express hotel next door but I decided against it as the standard rooms at Uno Express are windowless.
Today, upon check-in, I was taken out of Sacha’s Hotel Uno and walked over to Sacha’s Uno Express. I was given a tiny room with no window and where the only table of any kind, is a quasi dressing table inside the bathroom!!! There is also no wardrobe for clothes. Instead, the is a rack, ALSO IN THE BATHROOM ABOVE THE QUASI DRESSING TABLE, with a grand total of 2 clothes hangers. Who in their right mind hangs up their clothes in a damp bathroom??? Just FYI - even the room safe is shoved in below the sink in the bathroom. There are so many items in the bathroom, the only thing they did not have the ability to stuff into the room is any form of rack to dry your bath towels!! 😡
When I went down to the reception in Sacha’s Hotel Uno, I was told that Sacha’s Uno Express no longer operates separately. They have moved all the standard room bookings in Sacha’s Hotel Uno across to this substandard annexe.
When I pointed out, this is not what I paid for on Agoda, that I had paid for a room in Sacha’s Hotel Uno, the girl I at reception did not offer any satisfactory alternative. She suggested I pay the hotel another THB1,000 a day to upgrade my room. When said that was ridiculous, given my room only cost THB1,557 a night, she had the cheek to ask if THB500 would be OK!!!
No sense of responsibility at all. It’ll definitely be my first and last visit to this unscrupulous establishment.
