Mixed reviews. Currently can’t sleep since the street traffic is nothing I have ever experienced. The loud cars, the bass in the stereos and the motor cycles are CRAZY!! I even have earbuds in with wh...Mixed reviews. Currently can’t sleep since the street traffic is nothing I have ever experienced. The loud cars, the bass in the stereos and the motor cycles are CRAZY!! I even have earbuds in with white noise and can hear so much. One car must have stopped at light and I could feel his bass in my chest (9th floor). So if bad sleeper good luck. The personal we experienced were extremely nice. Oh, I think a drag race right now as I type this. Ugh! We had water dripping in the light in bathroom and we were moved to a bigger room and given a nice credit for dinner. Wow, the bass in the cars below. I can’t get over it. The rooms could use some updating but not too bad. The location is good for the riverwalk but the noise is unbearable to me. I do think the possibility of loud street traffic could affect many hotels in downtown but I don’t know. The bass is NON STOP!!! Maybe the cars are doing laps. Car at light revving engine. I hate to give reviews like this, but I want to be honest. No idea when I will fall asleep.Show More

Thank you so much Mike for giving us an early ch...This 5 star expensive and massive hotel attached to the riverwalk center really delivered! Starting Ming’s before our stay when I contacted Mike Kobys. Thank you so much Mike for giving us an early check in and access to the M Club which included breakfast and evening snacks and I will post some pictures of the M Club and also the wonderful receptionist who greeted us with a smile when we arrived. He told us about the 25 dollars a day resort fee and encouraged us to eat at the Marriott saying that we would get. 15 dollar a day credit if we ate at the hotel and encouraging us to get the included riverboat tour. Self parking was rapid and quick and the convention center was very close. The indoor outdoor pool was someone small but very clean. I noticed that our room key also allowed access to washers and dryers. The gym was active and large. Thank you also to the bartender that we met on our first night who pored our martinis with a smile.Show More

It was great to have full control of the air conditioner, and to adjust lighting with the window curtains. The housekeeping was excellent. I enjoyed the hotel bar and lounge with outdoor patio, with great food, and really appreciated that you had an excellent Texas brewed West Coast IPA on tap (Art Car IPA). I also appreciated the free tickets to local attractions, especially the River Walk boat tour. It was great to be able to walk right out of the hotel onto the River Walk. I was also happy to see your Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda, featuring a portrait of Flaco Jimenez. ¡Viva Flaco¡ Overall, this was a great experience, and I will be sure to return.Show More
