I booked by Agoda a standard room for 82 Euro for night, and asking expressly for a very quiet room away from...I stayed at this hotel in October 2025.The hotel is in a good location in the city center. I booked by Agoda a standard room for 82 Euro for night, and asking expressly for a very quiet room away from the elevator. When I arrived, I was told they hadn't received my request and there were no other rooms available. They offered me a room near the elevator, along with earplugs. Take it or leave it. It was 10 degrees outside and very cold, so I was forced to accept the room they offered me, otherwise I would have been out on the street. They also demanded a credit card if I damaged anything in the room, even though it wasn't covered by Agoda's terms and conditions. When I refused, the front office manager, Mr. AMAN YADAV, was very aggressive and wouldn't let me contact Agoda, otherwise I would have missed my waiting time. When I refused to give them my card, he said he understood my concerns, and this was due to my country of origin (Italy). This gentleman, by his appearance and name, seemed to be of Asian origin. I didn't sleep for three nights in room 507, (room 508 is near) located near the elevators. Housekeeping is only done upon request (refreshment), but they don't change the sheets until check-out. At check-out, I invited the staff to check my room for any damage, but they refused.Show More

We stayed in the hotel during the Stampede and found the hotel very convinient for the C train and walking around the local area, the hotel its self we were on the 5th floor and as others mentioned yo...We stayed in the hotel during the Stampede and found the hotel very convinient for the C train and walking around the local area, the hotel its self we were on the 5th floor and as others mentioned you could hear the C train but we got used to it and it ceased to be a concern, the room was large and had all the amenities as expected for such a room. The lack of real milk was rectified by the lovely staff in Moxies, which we wrote a separate review about, in fact we have booked up to return for the whole of the stampede next year on the strength of the hotles location and the staff in Moxies, one of whom made us so welcome it was an easy chaoice as the place to stay and eat for the upcoming stampede. Only small gripe is the lack of real mugs or cupos for tea, (being Brit this is a must) and real milk could be supplied but there is a shop across the road so not a showstopper.Show More

Upon request, the very friendly person at the reception desk gave us a beautiful large corner room on the upper floor with a great view over Calgary—thanks again.
