Check in and check out were speedy, which was appreciated. Very friendly staff who were attentive at breakfast. Others always offered a 'hello' when passing through the hallways. Breakfast was decent with buffet fruit, bread, condiments, pastries, egg and pancake station, bacon, baked beans. Each guest was able to order one item from an ala cart menu containing 6 - 8 dishes. The shower drain smelt sulphuric during the first few minutes of use and the toilet flush was weak, but that's typical of older hotels in Bali. The pool looked welcoming but we didn't use it. We also didn't ask about pool towels but noticed there was none in the room. Face towels and hand towels not provided either. Our room overlooked the outdoor stage and wasn't noisy. Performances finished by 8pm. Amazing location central to laundromats, shops and restaurants. 400m access to the beach through the peaceful back alley (past the villas).Show More
