Every person called the hotel to inform them of the delay and one person called and ema...Our group of 11 booked 4 rooms from 10/10/25 thru 10/13/25 however, our bus ride from New York City was delayed. Every person called the hotel to inform them of the delay and one person called and emailed. We arrived at 3 am to find out, 3 of the rooms we booked with 2 double beds each were given away. The Manager came out to say there was an "emergency" but, really! Best they could do was give us roll always and say sorry! The Manager said he had to check to see how he could make it right for us. We were later given $100 off per night which we were okay with but, the whole ordeal wouldn't have been an issue if our rooms or beds weren't given away! Other issues were: Rude Front Desk worker Desiree (the 2nd night); when discussing our bill we noticed taxes were taken off one day but not others. She snapped back saying, "that was a mistake but, you want me take it all off I could do that?" Our thoughts, OMG how ghetto. The first night, as the front desk person walked to get the Manager, she looked at her co-worker and that co-worker rolled her eyes. The workers need to be re-trained, I felt as if I were at a Motel, you know, you get what you pay for! Our friend in the other room and her 94 yr old mother had NO hot water for two days. When maintenance came, they left because she had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, even though she had just made the call. They couldn't knock even once, I mean she called at 12 midnight so they knew she was there. I guess rules are rules and common sense doesn't kick in! Best part of the stay was speaking with the Hotel Concierge, an older gentleman who changed all of our moods. He was so pleasant and knew how to speak to hotel guests! You could mistake him for the GM instead of a Concierge worker, as the Hotel Managers all looked tired and not happy! Bottom-line, would not recommend this hotel to anyone other than find another BRAND! Think I'll stick to the Hilton brand, we haven't had experiences like this ever!Show More

For the few things we hang, the closet was fine, but I really dislike the trend I've seen in hotels for removing the dresser, entirely. Especially for small rooms, it just makes it so difficult to keep things tidy. I hate living out of my suitcase and the 2 hole cubby thing in the closet is not adaquate. -- The soundproofing between rooms was inadaquate, as we were kept awake by our neighbors carrying on and going in and out of their room until 2am our first night -- There is no way to close the door quietly, even if you're *trying* to be considerate (to be fair, this is an industry-wide thing. I've never been in a hotel where the doors weren't way too loud) -- The pillows were the worst I've ever tried sleeping with. Too little filling to be useful, and the pillow's casing (not the pillow case, but the pillow itself) was plastic and I sweated through the night, when I could sleep at all. Who thought that kind of pillow was a good idea? -- The AC was not great. We had to turn it to 62 to just exist in the room. It was definintely NOT working right. All in all, I don't think we'll stay there again. I've been pretty loyal to the Marriott brand for years, but Sheraton is always hit or miss. This is a Sheraton. A Marriott Premium brand alongside Westin, Autograph Collection, etc. One expects a buffet breakfast that’s up to par with other Marriott Premium-branded properties. Instead, what we found is the same limited selection one would find at a Courtyard property. Stale muffins, croissant, fruits, a sad, very limited collection of cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, french toast, and two types bread you can toast. That’s it. What made it even more jaw-dropping is fact that the they charge $125 for 3 people for their sad excuse of a breakfast buffet. Order a la carte, go to Yard House or Stephanie’s. Whatever you do, stay away from their buffet. Their renovated rooms are worth writing about. They maximized the limited space they had to work with. Not much they can do about the tiny bathrooms, but it’s been redone as well. I find it odd that the doors of the rooms are not the same size. Some are narrower than others. Klaudia at the front desk was amazing! She went over and beyond to grant a simple request. The hotel has direct access (on the 2nd floor) to Prudential Center. There’s valet parking, but there’s also public basement parking attached to the hotel. The entrance is on Dalton St., just past the drop off area. You can access the hotel floors directly from the public parking, which adds to the convenience.Show More

This appeared to be due to a conference, and at least three others were also turn...I booked a two night stay at Sheraton Boston in September 2025. Upon check-in, I was informed that the hotel was full. This appeared to be due to a conference, and at least three others were also turned away like me. They offered me a room at TownePlace Suites by Framingham. However, this was well outside of Boston limits so I declined accommodations. Instead I slept on my coworker's floor at his hotel room. I requested compensation under Bonvoy's Ultimate Reservation Guarantee which clearly states: "If a Participating Property is unable to honor the reservation, it will pay for comparable accommodation nearby for the Elite Member that night and compensate the Member for the inconvenience." For Sheratons, compensation is clearly noted as $200 and 90,000 Points. However, Kyle Vandine, Director of Room Operations, emailed that Ultimate Guarantee compensation does not apply using unsupported statements including: 1. "Due to the fact that you chose to cancel and not relocate to this new property, the benefit does not apply." (not true) 2. "Additionally, the $200 payment is administered in cash and must be both requested and processed when the issue occurs or before departing the property." (not true) 3. "... appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective regarding the Ultimate Reservation Guarantee which falls under the Elite Benefits Guarantee umbrella."
