We had two falls view rooms. Not sure why but both were double queen beds but rooms were different sizes. One had a full couch and chair and the other smaller room only a chair. One had a full couch and chair and the other smaller room only a chair. Not a big deal but just information that should have been shared at booking or upon check in. I have Ambassador Elite status and when we went to concierge lounge for breakfast it consisted of only cold items. I asked why nothing hot and was told not on the weekends. So something else not disclosed to us. Not a big deal but again I should have been informed. The attendant said we could get a voucher at front desk for the restaurant. So we did. We went to the restaurant only to be told our voucher was only good for the cold side of the buffet. Ha ha I guess the jokes on us and we were told we could upgrade to the hot buffet for $19.95 each. I said fine. They were out of items as well and we had to wait for some replenishment. All in all just a disappointing experience. I had researched to see if they had a lounge first. I could have chose the Marriott and most likely will the next we return to the falls. Just seemed petty to me and I would have appreciated the disclosure so as to make an informed decision. The rooms were nice and did have great views. The lounge experience did not ruin anything for us other than the minor inconvenience. My point is do not offer the elite service and then not deliver it. I know this is a tourist destination and not a business one but I travel a lot and have come expect a level of service from Bonvoy but this time it just did not measure up. Also know this is more family friendly given it is attached to the Arcade and a Water Park. Good location to the lively Lundy’s Lane.Show More

I was excited to be going to the Sheraton Fallsview with the view of the falls, but unfortunately, that was the only thing that made the Fallsview special. The hotel is dated and needs a refresh. The ...I was excited to be going to the Sheraton Fallsview with the view of the falls, but unfortunately, that was the only thing that made the Fallsview special. The hotel is dated and needs a refresh. The room amenities like USB ports and light fixtures didn’t work. While showering, I discovered the soap dispenser was empty and i had to finish my shower by getting out to grab the hand soap. When i contacted had housekeeping to refill the soap they had no explanation why it wasn’t checked. At 1:30 PM, our room key suddenly stop working even though we had a 2pm checkout and the front desk was unable to rectify our issue 2 times and had to have housekeeping open our door until we checked out. Our dining experience at Massimo Restaurant was also a disappointment, I ordered a rack of lamb medium rare and waited about 30 minutes and it well done. With the exception of the room view, the whole experience at the Fallsview Sheraton was very disappointing.Show More

Unfortunately, we were given what I would describe as falls adjacent view. It was a pretty view, but not what was represented on the Sheraton website or in other travelers photos on trip advisor for fallsview. We couldn’t even see the American Falls at all. They charge a $39 resort fee, but it doesn’t provide for anything. Or if it does, I was not informed of it. Also, the bathroom has mildew stains and cracked tile, and the sink and bathtub are both badly clogged. Room 1575 The good: the location is great, the lobby is very nice and connects with Starbucks. The Juliet balcony is a great touch, it’s great to open the window and listen to the falls. They let me check in 2 hours early which was greatly appreciated.Show More
