The property itself and the room were great. It has a full kitchen. The bathroom is nice and all the floors are marble tile floors. The shower is nice and roomy. We had minor WiFi issues and it was corrected. It is in the middle of Canal so you are close to everything. Less than a mile from Bourbon and less than a mile from the Superdome. The bad though…right next to an emergency room. We heard a lot of sirens. The only tv is in the living room and none in bedroom. Also no cable just chrome cast. We watched a movie on our computer in the bedroom but watching it on a TV would have been better. I watched tv on my phone because of no cable. It was very inconvenient. No control of anyone outside of the hotel. There were people always right in the door hanging around and also weed being smoked right outside the door. It was inconvenient at times to get in and out. Parking is awful! You can pay way too much a night for valet parking or you have to find a random lot near by. The cheapest lot is across the street on canal meaning you have to unload your car and walk across Canal to get to your room with all of your suitcases or whatever you have. Parking there is a lot less a night but you must pay at the kiosk. The QR code tried to make you pay a lot more a night. Save your money. The good by far outweighs the bad. There are a lot of bads but they are minor. The room and location make up for the bads. I’m sure the parking issue would be most hotels in that area. Show More

However, upon entering our room (which we paid extra for early check-in), we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong marijuana smell. The odor was so intense that we had to step out into the hallway. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk and the Sonder app, no action was taken, and management never followed up. With no available room change, we had to rely on an air freshener from housekeeping, but the smell was deeply embedded in the furniture. Beyond the odor, the room was dusty and poorly maintained, triggering unexpected allergy symptoms for both of us. The grout on the floors, originally white, had turned black from dirt, and the air quality was terrible. Housekeeping essentials, like laundry detergent, were not replenished, and even requesting fresh towels required paying a steep cleaning fee. This place has great potential due to its spacious layout, but the lack of cleanliness and poor management response made our stay uncomfortable. If you have allergies or expect basic hygiene standards, I would not recommend staying here.Show More

The amount of space in the room was amazing. Fully equiped. The bed was sooo comfortable and the water pressure was perfect. Only managed to connect to the tv once during my trip. The only bad thing thing i coould think of is that is would be noce to have some kind of security person on the entrance to the building. The area arind the entrance is pretty dark and sometimes had some unsavoury looking people hanging around. I felt as though the hotel jung employees didn't even acknowledge you entering and leaving the property. The security code to enter the building was not needed because the door was always open to the lobby. This way i was appreciative that the elevator could only be activated using the security code. Would not deter me from booking this property again. Totally satisfied and wished i could have stayed longer. Great option if you are thinking of staying in the New Orleans area. Would recommend!!!Show More

There were dishes for you to use, a full kitchen including a dishwasher (mine didn't work so I bought dish soap which I had no problem doing), a washer and dryer with tide pods included, and it was huge! I walked in shocked to say the least. I was there because I was working for the superbowl halftime. The only bummer that came along with the say was the absolutely insane upcharge to extend my stay 3 more nights. Like pretty much all the hotels in that area, all the rooms were blocked out so I couldn't book it for all the days that I needed. But once I was able to extend it they wanted almost 8K which was insane. So I had to find somewhere and hr and a half away which was an inconvenience because Sonder was a 10 minute walk from my rehearsals at the Superdome.Show More
