From the moment we pulled into the parking area for valet to checkout everything was perfection. We got in late and they were out of the room we booked. We were delightfully surprised when Daisy gave us the most amazing upgrade to a corner room overlooking the river, Navy Pier, and the lake! We could not believe it, this room was exceptional. The valet was pricey but great to have downtown parking and easy access to our car. And while there is a resort fee, it includes a credit to their bar food/drinks. Overall, I highly recommend Swissotel if you’re looking for a hotel in downtown Chicago!

This place is exceptional, very welcoming upon arrival. As soon as we stepped out of our vehicle, we were greeted by Valet. These men were professional, very helpful, and kind.
Upon check in, the gentleman that took care of our check in was extremely polite, educated, and kind.
The gentleman that helped us with our bags was amazing. He was so kind, funny, and helpful.
The hotel was inviting and clean. Everything was top of the line.
Any staff member we encountered went above and beyond for us.
We will be back next year. Exceptional stay with an exceptional staff.

10/10 Quality Service from Swissotel
I went to a family St Patrick's Day party on Saturday March 15, 2025. I was having trouble finding the correct entry or access door on a lower level. Mind you it was total craziness downtown that day. I saw a representative from Swissotel and asked if he could help. Mr Bailey Roberts from Swissotel showed me to the correct access door, then to the proper elevator. He was completely professional, thorough and accommodating. He did exactly what a quality employee would do, it was a pleasure to meet him. Thank you very much.

I would to thank Swissotel for their wonderful service and I would to give a special thank you to Mr. Warnsby who serviced my room and he did not disappoint cleaned everything spotless and even made sure I had fresh towels and tissue. Once again thank you Swissotel for your great service

I booked a room because the hotel next door (Hyatt, where I had a week stay already booked) refused to allow me to check in one day earlier - a real negative score against Hyatt. Swissotel booked me in with no problem and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind in getting all in order for the last-minute booking. I really appreciated the personnel especially in light of having arrived in Chicago after a long cross-Atlantic flight.
