Given 2 free upgrades to...We LOVE staying here, clean , great location, friendly staff, stayed over dozen times now in fact Mrs B booked 6 rooms recently for a reunion.On arrival we checked in at 1pm. Given 2 free upgrades to Premier exec double with tower view, inc. free mini bar as we where a multi returning client.. Room for our friend was ready 525. and ours was not, When we came back at 10pm to get our keys , we were told our room had been booked out as we had no keys. hardly our fault that. we where given 731 a standard double over looking the bridge.and it was a partly closed off family room with 1 part closed for refurbishment. It was bitterly cold as the hotel had a heating fault but they said there was a heater. great oil filed radiator , with a faulty timer which was useless, very dated and small bathroom with low water pressure .Felt like it was opened as an emergency for us . We spoke next morning on check out and given 3 complimentary breakfasts. The receptionist went off to speak with the manager and returning shortly saying he was in a meeting but would email me later. 4 days on nothing...Really cannot understand this reasoning as surely as valued returning clients the minimum would be an apology as it took the edge of a great 2 days. We are as usual planning 6 trips next year to see the shows and the Festival of Remembrance, and as ever our bookings are normally here, Surely they cannot get it as badly wrong, or can they?Show More
