Bathroom needed more attention. First morning shower last friday, I found a clump of hair on the wall and the tiles in the shower and bathroom basin needed a bit of cleaning. Also cup not washed but placed ready for use. Bed was always well made and comfortable. Location of my room level 1 l, room 140. Very disappointing as my friend was on level 4. House keeping staff couldnt understand English. Aside from bathroom mishaps the room was clean and provided everything I needed. I kept the blinds down so I didnt have to look at the roof and air-conditioning units.Show More

Excellent location and such a comfortable bed, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel in Melbourne. The happy hour was fantastic, with excellent hours from 4pm-7pm and really reasonably priced drinks. I remember staying at 'The Vic' a long time ago and it wasn't memorable at all, however since the renovations have been done I was blown away and for all the right reasons. We will absolutely be staying again and recommending others to stay too.Show More
