Earlier review of comparing this hotel’s customer service to a Best Western is spot on. We had a great weekend planned and chose the Waldorf for V-Day weekend. Delta cancelled our flights 2 hrs before takeoff. We had a lot of high end restaurant reservations booked and they also had to be cancelled. When my wife called the Waldorf and asked for a room cancellation she was told by Jeremy Timono front desk manager, a first night cancellation fee of $494 would apply because we called to cancel so late. The rug was pulled from under us due to a rain storm literally hours before takeoff, ruining our entire weekend. We even provided evidence of flight cancellations and still, the world renowned Waldorf Astoria and their desk manager would not budge. Their robotic attitude and unwillingness to hear us out about our cancelled trip was surprising. I really thought a hotel of this caliber would understand; sympathize with our situation and not apply the cancellation fee. Talk about losing customers before they even walk in the door. I’ve also let my extended family know of how we’ve just been treated. They won’t be staying there either. Waldorf Astoria had the opportunity to do the right thing and in turn will never set foot inside that hotel. Hello Four Seasons, you’ve just won yourself some new life long customers.

10/10 Very Impressed
My most recent stay at the WALV was hugely improved over my previous couple of stays, and has certainly convinced me to return to this property.
Room: Prior to my arrival, I was upgraded from a city view room to a strip view room in the app, and the room was ready before the standard check-in time.
Pool and Zen Kitchen: The pools are well heated, and while the pool cafe was still closed for the season, I grabbed lunch from Zen Kitchen and brought it to the pool. Not only did the staff at Zen Kitchen understand that I was ordering food to take to the pool and therefore make it a point to get my food ready quickly (only 10 minutes!), my poke bowl was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Gym: The gym is as clean as ever, with tons of machines and space.
Restaurant: Since Sky Bar is still closed, we went for drinks in the former restaurant, currently repurposed as the Hotel Bar. The bar is absolutely gorgeous, has sweeping strip views, and doesn’t feel in any way like a step down from Sky Bar. The service and drinks were great, and the truffle fries were PHENOMENAL.
On a final positive note: After my stay, I reported a housekeeping issue that had occurred. The hotel responded promptly and very thoroughly.

10/10 A Peaceful Oasis of Luxury - It's All in the Details
The Las Vegas Waldorf Astoria is an absolutely beautiful, peaceful and first class property in the middle of the strip. The is a 5++++ Star hotel, smoke free, casino free and peacerespite from the craziness of the LV Strip. The staff are kind, helpful and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacioous, beautiful and the bathroom is stunning. We had a city view room that gave us a "peek" of the strip on the 12th floor and it was great. The heated pool, jacuzzi and gym are top notch. Everything is spotless and well maintained. The Waldorf Astoria does not dissapoint. It is the small things that matter and I love the beautiful L'Occitane shaving set in each room, bath salts, along with the fresh fruit infused water and cool towels in the gym. When I forgot my toothbrush they provided a complimentary one without having to leave the property and buy one. The bar on the 28th floor is a relaxed and romantic little spot with amazing views. This hotel is located close to the Cosmopolitan, VDARA, planet Hollywood and lots of shopping and restaurants. Do not hesitate to book here, it will exceed all of your expectations.

6/10 Disapointing.
This hotel was a bit disappointing. It was very expensive so we had high expectations. The hot tap was broken on one of our sinks, and the other sink kept making loud bubbling sounds like it was blocked. By far the worst part was that on our second day in Vegas we were put from 10 a.m untill 10 pm and when we got back our room hadnt been serviced. We came home to an unmade bed and dirty towels. Horrible. I called the front desk and they said housekeeping was only until 8.30 and it was too late to make up the room so I asked for clean towels and water bottles. We went to the bar and came back later and they weren't there. The next morning we found they had been placed in the valet closet but no one told us they would be in there. The Skybar was being renovated and was very expensive. It wasn't anything to get excited about.

The WA hotel and it's staff were absolutely top notch!! Room was excellent with a matching strip view. The WA called a local steakhouse for us twice a day and finally secured is a dinner that had no availability for weeks. I can't say enough!!!

Centrally located but has no casino and no attractions, so no passing footfall, hence quiet.
Staff all attentive and professional. 2 swimming pools with lots of lounges and umbrellas.
Excellent Zen cafe for quick coffee and pastry for breakfast if full breakfast is not required.
Bar with excellent views, especially at night.
Luggage lockup with facilities to shower and change if already checked out.
Had a road trip from San Francisco down to L.A. and then to Vegas staying at 7 different hotels. Waldorf by far, the best hotel. Hotel thought of everything.

i had bad expThis is the second time I have stayed in your hotel, and the first experience was beautiful, so I returned the experience for my honeymoon, but it was one of the worst experiences for me in my entire life. I arrived at the hotel and it was time for me to sleep, and the suite was not ready to host it, as the lighting control device was not working and the lighting was on. A technician came to me and fixed the errors when It went and damaged the blackout and the curtains. I could not sleep. The second time I tested the lights at 3:30 a.m., they turned on and turned off suddenly without control. Even if there was a leak in the bathroom, they did not fix it for me. In the end, the Valet car on the second day waited ten minutes for the car to be delivered, and this will be the last time. I will visit your hotel, thank you

8/10 Definitly a good hotel but we were there at the wrong time!
I would say this is one of the best and most affordable hotels in Las Vegas. Especially as a family and non smoker this was the right hotel to choose. In my perspective its a huge plus that the hotel doesn’t have a Casino, its more quiet and doesn’t smell as bad. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the newer hotel in the area and worth its money when you compare it with the old hug hotels around.(MGM/ Caesar Palace). The view and room of the hotel were amazing. The bathtub was stunning!

Wondering non-Casino hotel on the north end of the LV strip. It's in a great location and the hotel is on the smaller side, so it's easy to get in and out of your room. Pool is great, Sky Bar is neat and they have a nice fitness studio. The rooms are very nice and well appointed with comfortable beds and HUGE bathrooms.
