The service...Firstly, thank you to all the staff at Wapa Di Ume Ubud for making our honeymoon so special. All the staff are friendly, polite and caring especially Juli and Mila who served us most days. The service is beyond impeccable. They have made our honeymoon so special that we will have memories for the rest of our life. The resort is excellent. We had a villa with a pool and it was exceptional tidy, cool and very stylish. The pool was private. They offer daily house keeping and a night time turn down service which is excellent. The resort has two main pools both make you feel like you are living in luxury inside a jungle setting. The hotel is like a paradise oasis tucked away in the jungle. All of the facilities are excellent, including their restaurant where they cater for all needs and have a delicious diverse menu. We ate at the hotel for lunch and evening and always had a great experience. The morning breakfasts are fantastic. We found our favourites and these were complemented with tea coffee, fruit and pastries. We enjoyed the culture of the evening BBQ a couple of times. I would highly recommend. Also the candle light romantic dinner on the floating terrace was beautiful, the effort made for the flower arrangements were stunning and the food was fantastic. Juli our waiter was top class throughout our stay but especially on that evening, ensuring that all our needs were met. We spent ten nights here and we are both very sad to be leaving. If you are planning a trip to Bali please don't miss out on the opportunity to stay in this idealic setting surrounded by jungle and rice fields. The staff cannot do enough for you they are so attentive to your needs and really make this place special. We were told that this was an accessible hotel by the company we booked our holiday with which caused a little bit of confusion on arrival as we have one person in the party who struggles walking. They were able to give one of the most accessible rooms and upgraded room for no extra charge. They provided a buggy service to and from the restaurant and in and out of Ubud at no extra cost so we were all able to experience the hotel amenities to the max. The rooms are big and spacious and the bathrooms are pure luxury huge baths lovely cosmetics to use everything you need is provided. The pools are not huge but not too busy either so very relaxing and very photo worthy as are infinity pools with waterfalls. The breakfast options are varied and everything we ate was delicious. They provide a menu but you are offered fresh juice, tea or coffee, pastries and fresh fruit on top and really delicious. The lunch and dinner menu also quite varied and everything we tried was delicious. The cocktails were lovely and they had my favourite a spicy marg which I had countless of. The espresso martini was also very good! The grounds here are stunning and perfect for photos etc. Overall we had a fabulous stay here and would love to come back again one day! I'm sure we will manage to organise that! From the first warm welcome to the last wave goodbye, the team made us feel like honored guests in a quiet palace above the paddies. Our suite opened to emerald fields where herons drifted by at sunrise. Mornings began with thoughtful touches, perfect coffee, tropical fruit that tasted like sunshine, and breakfasts that changed just enough each day to keep the magic alive. The pool seemed to melt into the landscape, and the spa felt like a whispered secret: calm, skilled, and never rushed. What set this stay apart was the sincerity of the service. Every request was met with a smile and a simple “of course,” often with an extra flourish we didn’t expect. Turn-down notes, gentle check-ins, helpful tips for nearby strolls, little kindnesses that stitched the days together. Dinner under the lanterns accompanied by traditional Balinese dance performances. We left feeling renewed, as if the rice fields had smoothed all the edges of the world. It was my 3rd time in Ubud, but my first stay at Wapa Di Ume, and I absolutely loved it! It’s located close to the center Ubud, yet surrounded by peaceful nature, a perfect balance of relaxation, luxury, and fun. Our villa with a private pool was surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed. The striped patterns add a touch of warmth to the elegant interior, creating a true “home away from home” feeling. There was even a cozy daybed, which I really appreciated. The shower room had a skylight, such a clever design that lets you enjoy natural light and an open feeling even on cloudy & rainy days. For dinner, we joined the BBQ & Cultural Dance Dinner, which was amazing. I have a nut allergy and often feel nervous when dining out, but the staff were incredibly kind and attentive.
