The Good: 1) The staff were excellent throug...I stayed at the Westin Copley Place for three nights during a conference in November 2025. At $299 per night plus taxes, a three-night stay came to $1044. The Good: 1) The staff were excellent throughout my stay. When I requested a late checkout, they accommodated me until 1 p.m. without hesitation, which was incredibly helpful. I also forgot my shaving cream and toothpaste, and the front desk was able to provide both items. Likewise, I had a friend of mine come and pick up a gift meant for him when I was attending the conference. The concierge made it possible for the hand over to happen smoothly. 2) The room itself was spotless and in great condition—housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. 3) Quality of food: The food that was provided during the two evening receptions was fairly good and the wait staff who were at the event were courteous. The Not-So-Good: 1) The blackout curtains were my biggest frustration. Light bleeds in through the sides, and I was woken up early on both my first and second mornings. On the final day, I ended up barricading the curtains with the trash can and my bookbag just to keep them fully closed. For a hotel at this price point, adding velcro straps to properly seal these curtains would be a simple fix that would make a huge difference to a light sleeper like me. 2) The elevators were painfully slow—I regularly waited 3-4 minutes, which became tiresome when trying to get to conference sessions on time. 3) Last but not least, the complimentary shaving cream packets were nearly impossible to tear open. Switching to shave gel would be a nice touch. While not every guest will need it, those who do would really appreciate something better than the hard-to-open packets. Overall, the Westin Copley Place has attentive staff and clean accommodations, but some operational improvements would make it even more worthy of its premium pricing.Show More

The beds were comfortable, showers had OK water pressure, and I received an upgrade as an ambassador elite which was nice. The hotel is in a great location right by the Back Bay shopping and restaurants. Check-in was easy. Upon reading other reviews, I made sure to ask if there was a destination fee charged. The check in lady said no destination fee with my reservation, but upon checkout I found they charged me one. When I brought this to their attention, they quickly removed the fee so make sure to check! My favorite part of this hotel is the lounge! The food and service was probably one of the top lounges I’ve been to in the US so far. The breakfast changed everyday which was nice and they served mini creme brûlée oatmeal, chia seed pudding, and fresh wellness juices. The lounge attendants cleared my empty dishes so quickly and were extremely friendly! Especially Irene Yeung made such a great impression upon entering the lounge. She greeted me by my name everyday which was SO impressive knowing how many guests there are. She also was so social with the other guests in the lounge including me and I have never had that kind of positive interaction in all of the lounges I’ve been in. Usually other lounge staff at other hotels hide in the back and seem like they want to go home.Show More

You can walk to both without ever going outside. Northeastern is a 10 minute walk. In the other direction, the Public Garden is 10 minutes. Fenway Park is a 20 minute walk. Easy access by car via US 90 , the Mass Turnpike, known locally as the "Pike". The hotel is large and caters to large parties. At times, it can feel crowded in the lobby. Rooms are very nice and the beds comfortable and clean. Overall, a good place to stay in an expensive city.Show More

I wanted to specially give compliments to the Westin club, which I visited every morning for breakfast as a Marriott Platinum member. The club was clean and spacious with a good selection of breakfast items including a meat choice that rotates on a daily bassis. The coffee, pastry, and juice were all fresh and delicious. The staff at the Westin club were also very friendly.Show More
