I am here for a 3 day conference. Checked in on Tues Sep 9th 6pm. I had to deal with the worst front desk person at a Marriott property. Front desk girls name is Jenieca. She was so rude. She was rush...I am here for a 3 day conference. Checked in on Tues Sep 9th 6pm. I had to deal with the worst front desk person at a Marriott property. Front desk girls name is Jenieca. She was so rude. She was rushing to get rid of me. I came after a long flight. I was tired. I had a few of questions about restaurants & conference rooms etc. She was not ready to answer any of the questions. I turned around look behind me to see whether there are any other guest waiting. There was none. At the same time other girl who was very sweet & friendly to the guest she was helping. I wish I had her. Jenieca IS NOT FIT TO WORK THE FRONT DESK. Some people are not made for that. She should be working back of the house. She may be racist. Or she was getting off her shift. I blame the management for hiring her. One employee could bring reputation of your establishment. I am a Hilton honors and Starwood member. This bothered me so much. I got up at 5am to write this.Show More

My main issue is the “sewer” smell that permeates several rooms and floors. The first room we checked into (10th floor) was so awful We literally had to wait outside… When a housekeeping manager came up, she immediately smelled it, and said that she will take care of it and move us to a different room. Our next room, the ninth floor, was tiny! Literally one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It smelled better, but not great. The bathroom was tiny and old, The carpets are kind of dirty. It was depressing. The hallways have an old, dusty, musty, smell, with a bit of sewer mixed in. There were also some issues with our bill (Including a $17.95 “coffee cart” fee!) Front desk was somewhat helpful, But overall, this wasn’t a great experience. There are many other Marriott properties nearby that are probably a better choice.Show More

As a result, both the room itself and the bathroom were very spacious. However, due to the low floor, there was hardly any natural sunlight. The bed itself was very comfortable, but the other furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and tear, making it look old. What was most unpleasant, however, was that the room was very close to the staff supply room. As a result, I often heard the sound of items being moved and things bumping into each other. In addition, the noise from the water pipes was very loud, waking me up several times in the middle of the night and affecting my sleep quality. On a positive note, the hotel’s location itself was excellent.Show More
