This is a beautiful, modern, comfortable newer hotel in Saskatoon. We loved the compact modern design. Lots of extras to love such as Nespresso machine, a handy bench in bathroom, a drawer fridge perf...This is a beautiful, modern, comfortable newer hotel in Saskatoon. We loved the compact modern design. Lots of extras to love such as Nespresso machine, a handy bench in bathroom, a drawer fridge perfect for bottles of water etc, and the amazing views of the city and Saskatchewan River with the floor to ceiling windows. The best part is the location overlooking the river and beautiful trails along the river and many walkable restaurants, museums and festivals happening when we were there. The only minor negative for me is hotels that use flat sheets for the bottom. I can’t stand loose and crumpled up bedding to sleep on. But this would not stop me from coming back here next time in Saskatchewan!! I just might bring a fitted sheet along :)Show More

Check-in time is 3 PM. We arrived on time and were told the room was not ready and that it was still being "inspected." After parking the car, I sat with my luggage in the lobby area for another perio...Check-in time is 3 PM. We arrived on time and were told the room was not ready and that it was still being "inspected." After parking the car, I sat with my luggage in the lobby area for another period of time before being given the OK to go to the room. The delay and inspection process took an undo amount of time. Underground parking is something the Alt needs to get sorted. There is not enough room for all the guests in the hotel underground parking area. Guests returning from an outing may be forced into overflow parking at the Nutrien Tower underground parking lot. After parking there, they can then look forward to a half block walk (or more) outside back to the hotel. Nice if the weather is good, the person isn't physically compromised, or if they are not carrying anything bulky or heavy. We were not told about the over flow arrangement at the time of check in and it was only after coming back from an evening outing and driving around in the hotel underground parking area to discover it was full, were we told about the overflow parking arrangement. Directions to the parking area were also poor. There was a map, why wasn't it used sooner! The hotel room was great, but the small details like check in wait time, parking, and good communication on the part of some front desk staff is lacking. Until these things are improved upon, the Alt hotel is secure in its 3-star rating. Show More

I have enjoyed staying at the Alt Holtel in Saskatoon in the past. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will return. First, front desk calls my room, not once but twice at 3:00 AM to advise they found my ...I have enjoyed staying at the Alt Holtel in Saskatoon in the past. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will return. First, front desk calls my room, not once but twice at 3:00 AM to advise they found my charger. I told them on the first call, I didn’t know what they were talking about. They proceeded to call back 5 minutes later to say they had my charger (again, no clue what they were talking about). Regardless, didn’t fall back to sleep after that. Checked out at 7:00 AM. Drove 4 hrs home after a day at the office, realized I left two silver rings which are very, very important to me on the shelf in the bathroom. Called them the next day when I realized where they got left, NO call back. No rings. I’m guessing someone else is now wearing them. Last item - breakfast. Where does the Alt hotel get off on charging guests $20 for coffee, a slice of toast you toast yourself, an apple or an orange and some plain yogurt all for $20? Seriously. Sorry. Bad experience and won’t go back. My rings are gone and so is my business there. Show More

I recently stayed at Alt Hotel Saskatoon with my wife for a weekend getaway, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was modern, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and professional, making check-in quick and easy. Our room had a beautiful view, with sleek, stylish décor and a super comfortable bed — perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. We especially appreciated how quiet it was, making for a relaxing, peaceful stay. The location couldn’t be better — right downtown, close to great restaurants, shopping, and walking trails along the river. We didn’t have to drive much at all, which made the weekend even more stress-free. Overall, Alt Hotel Saskatoon provided everything we could’ve hoped for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back for our next getaway. Highly recommended!Show More
