For those who enjoy a comfortable stay, spending more time in the hotel while still having easy access to sightseeing, this property is a great choice. As an IHG One Rewards Diamond Ambassador, I booked a Classic Room but was upgraded to a 1 King Classic High Floor. Room: 1 King Classic High Floor The room is spacious, decorated in a modern style with subtle Japanese touches. Quiet and airy, with a perfectly soft king-sized bed. The window opens to a panoramic Tokyo cityscape view – stunning at night! The bathroom features a bathtub with separate wet and dry zones. Amenities are by Byredo, giving a premium and elegant feel with every detail. - Club InterContinental Lounge (35th Floor) - Afternoon Tea (14:30–16:30) A relaxing experience with Japanese–European sweets and savories such as fruit cakes, mousse, tarts, and wagashi, paired with sencha, black tea, or freshly brewed coffee. The lounge offers a peaceful atmosphere and spectacular 35th-floor views. Evening Cocktail (17:00–19:00) Forget the idea of a “standard” club lounge cocktail hour – ANA InterContinental Tokyo goes above and beyond! The offerings include: A full buffet of hot and cold dishes A dessert spread À la carte hot dishes, freshly prepared and served by staff And most impressively, Moët & Chandon Champagne – one of the few InterContinentals that still serve it (the only two I’ve experienced are here and InterContinental London Park Lane). Its remarkable service and lounge made it a highlight of our Tokyo trip. As IHG Platinum members, we booked a premium room with lounge access and got upgraded to the spacious Mizu Suite. We were very pleased with that. The hotel lobby feels dated and dim, much like other InterContinental properties worldwide. However, it didn't matter much as we barely spent time there. As suite guests, we checked in and out directly in the lounge, and the process was seamless and hassle-free. The lounge staff were outstanding and truly welcoming, and they were always wearing warm smiles. Special shoutout to Manager Raphael from France and Senior Executive Yasuyo for their exceptional dedication. They particularly made us feel right at home. Located on the 35th floor, the lounge is huge with stunning skyline views. One side offers a cozy seating area with low tables, perfect for afternoon high tea or evening cocktails. The other has proper dining tables and was nearer to the food stations, which is ideal for a quick breakfast when you are not going to spend a long time there. The lounge's food were heavenly, with generous variety that felt like a mini dinner buffet (which is already ample if you're not a big eater). Evening cocktails featured decent Moët champagne, plus hot tapas delivered tableside. We had wagyu one night and sirloin the next, both were impressive. Cold food stations had cheese, salads, sushi, seafood, and desserts, with no long queues or slow refills. This was unlike some other Japanese hotel lounges. Its afternoon tea came as a beautiful layered set. Overall speaking, the food provided in the club lounge was incredibly abundant and nicely presented! We enjoyed the vibes a lot too! Our Mizu Suite was newly renovated in modern Japanese style. It was spacious, with ample storage and a smart layout. The mattress was super comfy, and we loved the turndown service with complimentary chocolates. Those little touches really count and impress us a lot. The only downside perhaps was the air conditioner which was quite noisy. And the noise insulation for windows was not up to standard. We kept hearing police cars, ambulances etc passing by throughout the night. In terms of location, the hotel is perfectly situated. It's just minutes from the nearest Tokyo Metro station. It only took us about 15 minutes to reach Ginza for shopping and more, which is very convenient indeed. In short, the ANA InterContinental Tokyo is very outstanding with its attentive service and lounge perks. It's our top pick for luxury in Tokyo! We shall definitely return!Show More

We pictured some relaxing afternoons or even lunch by the pool. Unfortunately what we did not know is that the hotel opens the pool to the public for a fee and it was mostly inundated by people paying for day passes. And it was absolute chaos! Overcrowded beyond anything we imagined. The change rooms were filthy with mountains of shoes at the entrance. There were no sun lounges available for almost the whole day. The pool had barely a square inch free. It was absolutely packed, beyond anything we have experienced in busy hotels pools in the past. And then someone walks around ringing a bell telling people their paid session is over and it’s time for the next wave of people to come in! Hardly a recipe for a relaxing environment. What are the hotel team thinking ?! Make no mistake, this is NOT a hotel pool. This is a public pool that hotel guests can use if they are savvy enough to find a spare corner. What an incredibly disappointing stay. We still used the pool for a quick dip to cool down but got in and out as quickly as possible because it was pretty unbearable. Never have we experienced anything like this. I think it really undervalues guests, particularly when we had paid a premium for lounge access, in the hope of having a really enjoyable stay. Is the revenue from opening the pool up so lucrative that it’s worth devaluing your guests’ experience? We will not stay again.Show More

We had a seamless check in on the 35 floor. The room was very nice, not large but comfortable. The bathroom has glass walls but when you enter it the walls fog up. Clever. So you get privacy. Not a lot of storage. That was an issue. Large hotel Great breakfast buffet. We had the weekend package so breakfast was included. Highly recommend. We are dinner 2x in the main floor restaurant and it was lovely. The restaurant staff is truly great. Near two Subway's about a 8 minute walk. Some stairs going in to the subway. The room service and cleaning of the room was good. Some language issues but overall very good. Concierge was helpful too. Highly recommend. Club room is lacking daytime snacks and food. Good service but variety of offers could be better. Dinner options were good. They do serve breakfast but we went to the buffet. Drinks are readily available.Show More
