The staff in the breakfast room were friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. Complementary fruit available in the reception area. Few areas in the reception area to sit and relax, there is a restaurant on site. Breakfast is available for a small fee, hot and cold options as well as a variety of beverages, wasn’t included in the pice, its added to your room pay on check-out. Check-inn was smooth and quick. Size of room & bathroom were good, toiletries provided shower gel and shampoo and large bath towels. We had one room with a balcony, unfortunately maintenance/construction work is being done outside on La Rambla however, it didn’t spoil our trip but does spoil the view if on a lower floor. The second room we booked had a small terrace which was pleasant. The room had a fridge which was handy to store our brought food etc, if you like tea and coffee in your room you have the option to ask the reception staff for a kettle, great idea. There is also a safe in the room and ample storage space. Hotel has a lift to all floors. Stayed here many years ago and had a positive experience, why we decided to rebook and it didn’t fail to impress. Fully recommend this hotel will rebook when we return to Barcelona.Show More

Then because of a medical issue, we had to stay another night before flying home. We had been to Barcelona before and I knew I wanted to stay on Las Ramblas (the street). I researched hotels and this was the best one in the center of a fun area. Shout out to Jose, desk clerk, who took great care of us during our stay. He called for a doctor to come to our hotel room to assess my condition. He was always so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Also shout out to Carlos, evening desk clerk, for helping with getting our fifth night...and let us stay in the same room. He also made a great restaurant recommendation...Rossini's. We ate there 2 times at least.Show More

A special mention goes to the staff, who were genuinely friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. On the morning we checked out, we were pressed for time, and they assisted us immediately in identifying the fastest and most efficient travel option to reach our next destination.
