Albergo pulitissimo, facile da raggiungere ed in una laterale tranquilla e sicura. Camere ben isolate anche dai rumori esterni (tranne le sirene dei mezzi d'emergenza :-)). Comoda la macchinetta per il caffè con ottime cialde che vengono ripristinate ogni giorno e cioccolatini o biscottini giornalieri come gesto di cortesia. Due bottigliette dell'acqua offerte all'arrivo. Presente asse e ferro da stiro, phon performante, prese usb e grande cassaforte a cassetto. Cambio giornaliero della biancheria da letto e degli asciugamani che abbondavano. Un comodo ristorante in loco con prezzi corretti (in linea con i prezzi newyorkesi) però chiude alle 22.. Carino il rooftop al 22esimo piano con vista sull'Empire State Building e terrazza esterna, ma piuttosto piccolo. Accanto alla reception nella hall disponibile gratuitamente caffè, bustine di tè e tre tipi di latte, dispenser d'acqua profumato con limone fresco e acqua normale. Tutto il personale molto gentile e disponibile. A due isolati di distanza c'è il famosissimo Keens Steakhouse, eccezionale in tutti i sensi! A pochi passi da Bryan Park, dove il sabato e la domenica, lungo tutta la strada che viene chiusa, c'è un mercato con bancarelle.Show More

I got in earlier than check in, so I grabbed lunch at the hotel bar and caught up on some work. They were running a lunch special of a chicken berry salad and a glass of wine for $20. That’s a steal for a pretty good meal. The other special was a burger and beer, and I’m not going to lie and say I wasn’t tempted. For dinner, we headed upstairs to Spyglass their rooftop bar. Was lucky to snag a seat with an amazing view of the Empire State bldg. Their food and drinks menu were good. I would recommend their Cajun shrimp and Spanish octopus. We were in a double double room. The room and bedding were comfortable. The bath towels were nicer than the ones from another hotel I had just been staying at. Up on the 11th floor, I didn’t hear much street noise. The hotel was an easy walk from Penn Station, which is an Amtrak stop. Bryant Park is a few blocks away, and we were able to catch an off broadway show for the night. The team at the Archer were really helpful, from the ground floor and all the way to the top at the Spyglass. The lady at the front desk provided recommendations for other shows to check out for my next visit. The team who helped me both during lunch and dinner were attentive. This level of service sets this hotel apart from others. I look forward to future stays here and will check out their other locations in the DC area.Show More

Onze beide koffers pasten onder het verhoogde bed. De kamer was erg stil voor centrum. Locatie: extreem veel eetgelegenheden kortbij. Plus, je zit er op een boogscheut van enkele leuke attracties die je moet doen, oa Vanderbilt summit, times square en broadway, empire state building,… je zit binnen 5 minuten wandelafstand van de gele lijnen van de metro aan 34th street en de oranje lijnen op Bryant park. Zo zit je binnen het half uur waar dan ook op manhatten, waar je wil zijn.Show More

The reception and restaurant staff were extremely friendly, and the lobby and other common spaces were nice. The room is definitely small, but we were expecting it to be a little tighter with the "boutique" style of the hotel. There was decent storage under the beds for bulkier luggage, so we were able to make it work. However, we ended up leaving our do not disturb sign on the door because of how much of our stuff was spread around the room-- we didn't really want housekeeping to try to deal with that, as there wasn't really a lot of room to navigate. We ended up having a wellness check of sorts, where they wanted to check on our safety as the result of keeping the DND sign up for more than a day. This didn't necessarily hinder our stay at all, we just thought it was interesting, as we had never experienced that before. I would definitely stay there again, but probably not for more than 2 people.Show More
