I normally don't write reviews, but I had to for this hotel given our wonderful stay in October. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient--one block away from the R, W, and N subway lines. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient--one block away from the R, W, and N subway lines. It was very easy to get anywhere in the city using those subway lines. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants and a great gelato shop down the block. The area is walkable, lively, and safe. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The double rainfall shower heads were glorious. We appreciated that snacks were provided upon arrival, that housekeeping came daily, and that water bottles were replenished daily. The only ding I give this hotel is that the caulk and grout lines in the showers are in need of some maintenance. Nevertheless, the staff is very friendly and their customer service is top notch. We arrived early, and the hotel stored our luggage and called us when the room was ready. We were always greeted upon entry and exiting. The doormen are extremely helpful, and all deserve raises (especially Anthony and the Latino doorman who was working while we were there). They took care of our luggage, ensured we had umbrellas when it rained, opened doors, and hailed cabs for us. Anthony even gave us water bottles as we waited for a cab he hailed. Truly remarkable customer service. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. We look forward to returning in the future.Show More

The hotel is very well located, with a subway station nearby and plenty of bars, restaurants, cafés, and excellent supermarkets just a short walk away — such as Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and the shower was fantastic. The room faced the street and offered a great view of the Empire State Building, with a cozy armchair and a large desk by the window. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every day they replenished Nespresso coffee capsules, provided bottled water, and there was both a Nespresso machine and an electric kettle for tea. The refrigerator also worked perfectly and kept everything cold. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was sometimes slow and unstable — occasionally I had to disconnect and use my own 5G connection for better speed. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would definitely stay at the Broadway Plaza Hotel again without hesitation.Show More

We were delighted that both rooms we booked had great views of the Empire State Building - I spent hours just gazing at the view! The rooms were larger than expected, and cleaned daily. There was a nespresso machine and pods, mineral water and crisps available. We were worried that, being in the centre of New York, the room might be very noisy, but this wasn't the case. The only slight negative was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't as good as I'd have liked, but this really is a very minor niggle. The hotel location is excellent and very close to a subway station. I was a little concerned about booking a hotel where breakfast wasn't available, but there were lots of good places nearby to get breakfast. We used the laundry service on one occasion, which was good. The people at Reception were always helpful and friendly. It's hard to fault anything about this excellent hotel, and if we return to New York I'd love to stay here again.Show More

There is nothing negative to say about it: bijou and beautiful, super clean and comfortable, wonderful, friendly staff and all in a perfect location surrounded by great restaurants. Only a short walk to Times Square, Empire State, 5th Avenue etc. We booked the Empire State King room and wow, we were not disappointed. Incredible view, our own lobby and private terrace. The only room on the top floor. We felt really special, and with all the room offered it was perfect to relax in at the end of each busy day touring NYC. Big shout out to the concierge Anthony, who was really helpful, ordering us a cab when our car company could not change timings due to torrential rain on our last day. All the staff were super helpful and welcoming. I would not stay anywhere else to be honest. Excellent value for money with a touch of luxury.Show More
