It’s a small boutique hotel. The rooms aren’t large (typical of NYC), but they are clean, the beds are comfortable with plush bedding, the room amenities are nice, there’s a desk if you need to make the hotel room your office while traveling, and the decor of the bedroom and bathroom seemed newly remodeled. Surprisingly, I could not hear NY traffic sounds from my room. The air in the room seemed more fresh and clean than many other NY hotels. My nose and throat had no reaction. The staff across the board were friendly and accommodating. The afternoon wine and cheese/snack hour was a nice touch. The morning breakfast was well stocked and convenient. Two bottles of water were provided in the room as well as 24 access to a filtered water machine for refills. The water from the machine was excellent. It felt like a healthy place to stay. I also liked the location … close enough to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, shopping, yet not in the highly populated center so walking was easy.Show More

The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The breakfast is all that you need with cereal, bagels , toast etc, yogurts . The added luxury of free wine and snacks between 5 and 6 is great ( although I suppose this is what the facility fee is for). The staff are lovely and helpful. Especially when my husband thought he had lost me on the underground subway. Sadly for him he had not!. The carnegie is nest to a subway station so makes it easy to get around. 2 blocks from central park. And walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would def recommendedShow More

Like most boutique hotels in New York, the room is modestly sized, but perfectly outfitted for a business trip. Comfortable, with the guest in mind… All the amenities in the room are great. Around the clock, coffee, tea, juice and other amenities are included in the price. As is a modest continental breakfast and wine and cheese reception each evening. Most of all, the staff was fantastic. Cheers to Adeia—who became a friend in no time! Front desk, staff was nice, friendly, engaging and took care of all the needs from giving you directions to setting up rides and laundry. Convenient to nice restaurants and easy pick up food. Right across from Carnegie Hall, if that’s your thing, but walking distance to 5th Avenue and Central Park. The $15 a day arrangement they have with “crunch“ gym is great. Absolutely no complaints and will stay here again!Show More

It was conveniently located for both walking around and taking the subway. On our first night checking in, the concierge Emarie, was so friendly and helpful. She gave us some great suggestions for bars near by for drinks and apps. The room was clean and spaced out well for 220 square feet. The king size bed was super comfortable and the shower was always hot with great water pressure. The continental breakfast had a great selection and in the afternoon they did a small happy hour. We also enjoyed some of the late night snacks offered in the lobby. Checking out was a breeze and they held our luggage for us until leaving for the airport. They also helped us book a car to the airport. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in New York.Show More
