The door staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, greeting me with warmth and professionalism that immediately made me feel at home. Check-in was quick and personal – no queues, no fuss, just a sincere smile and a sense that nothing was too much trouble. Throughout my stay, the attention to detail really stood out. Free bottled water available all day might sound simple, but it was such a thoughtful touch after a long day exploring the city. The lounge area was another highlight – calm, cosy and a real escape from the madness of Times Square. I spent a few evenings there just relaxing with a drink, feeling completely at ease. My room was spotless and beautifully kept, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Despite being in the heart of Manhattan, it was surprisingly quiet – I actually slept better here than I do at home! Everything felt carefully thought through, from the décor to the lighting, and it all added to that feeling of comfort and calm. I’ve stayed at the Hilton and a few other big-name hotels in New York, but Casablanca honestly beats them all. It’s not about flashy extras or size; it’s the warmth, the genuine care, and the way the staff make you feel like a valued guest. This place really does feel like a home from home. I had alerted the manager that we were celebrating a birthday on our trip. When we arrived in the room, there was a complimentary bottle of champagne and 2 glasses waiting! The rooms are on the smaller side, but there is a fantastic, comfortable lounge if you need to spread out a bit. Bathroom is great with the addition of robes and slippers, and ample room. Speaking of the lounge, the ubiquitous resort fee isn't just a scam to get more of your cash - guests have 24/7 access to really nice snacks, cold bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. And as stated, it a cozy large room to hang out. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. And the location? Step out the door, turn right, walk 100 feet and you're in the middle of Times Square - really hard to believe because when you are in the hotel/room/lounge, it is so quiet and peaceful. We cannot recommend this hotel enough... it will always be our go to when we visit. Many thanks to the Casablanca Hotel for making our stay in NYC so wonderful!! p.s. the Fettuccine Alfredo at Tony's is a must have!Show More

The second floor hospitality room was consistently stocked with fresh pastries and hot coffee. The rooms are not overly spacious but nicely appointed with every convenience I expected. The Casablanca's location, just steps away from Times Square, is one of its greatest attributes. The short walk to Broadway to catch the musical "Chicago" was a breeze. Took an enjoyable stroll to Central Park (15 - 20 minutes away) and caught a bicycle taxi for a wonderful 90 minute guided tour of this legendary landmark. Not if, but when, I travel back to NYC I know exactly where I'm gonna stay!Show More
