The Deluxe room allocated was spotless, and spacious, with a walk in shower, a storage area under the bathroom basin, ample closet space, and a separate living area with a sofa, coffee table, desk and fireplace. The amenities included a small bar fridge, iron, hair dryer, large screen TV, small balcony and a well-stocked mini bar (available at an additional cost). The bed was comfortable and we did not hear any other guests during our stay. The room we were allocated matched the website photos and was tastefully decorated.
The Location of the hotel is in a quiet street (appears to be residential with friendly locals walking their dogs), but within a short walk to the restaurants, bars and café’s located on Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevards, and a 20 minute walk will allow you to explore some of the great café’s along Melrose. We appreciated the quiet location given the noise and traffic in Los Angeles and felt the property does a great job at providing a relaxing sanctuary to unwind each night.
We did not utilise the valet parking offered by the hotel, choosing to stay offsite for a more cost effective option (within a short walk from the hotel) however, we did utilise the 2 hour free parking outside the hotel on a couple of occasions if we were freshening up before dinner etc.
The employees we encountered were welcoming and very helpful when we called a few days earlier to request an earlier check in, with a recommendation to call again before departing the airport to see if they could accommodate us (They could!). When we arrived, the team member explained the hotel facilities and that they would not be servicing our room daily, but we were able to request new towels and garbage removal at any time.
Overall, a great stay at the Chamberlain West Hollywood, where we would have no hesitations to book again in the future.Show More
