We went to our rooms which w...My friend and I showed up for our check-in around 7pm to be great by a very friendly staff. The only issue I had was the self check-in didn't recognize my Passport Card. We went to our rooms which were very clean. We put our stuff away and headed down to the canteen for a quick bite to eat. The hot food was very good and reasonably priced for L.A. The chicken nachos are HUGE. We went for a quick walk then to bed we went. The King rooms we booked were small but comfortable. The bed was awesome. I adjusted the lights to a perfect color hue and light level. All of this is done with the room's iPad. The T.V. is operated by the iPad also. I wanted to watch some motorsport so i paired my tablet to the tv and started watching. The WiFi was fast so the streaming went smoothly. I loved the shower, it was easy to use and the water got hot quickly. Check out was the easiest ever. Just walk up to the kiosk and click check-out. Overall the hotel is good value and great comfort with friendly staff. Show More

I had a problem with my TV at one point and maintenance came within a couple of hours and sorted it out for me. Everything was operated with an iPad which was a bit daunting for a technopobe like me but it was so easy to work out. I had the breakfast a couple of mornings good value - all you can eat till 11am. The public areas of the hotel are well laid out and tidy. The only downside to this hotel is it's location in downtown LA. I was late coming home from a trip out and had to walk a few blocks back to the hotel - seriously it was the most frightened I'd ever been in my life....kept my head down and walked in the road till I reached my destination. They do have security outside the hotel and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw them. If you are a solo traveller try and ensure you're not out after 7pmShow More

I was turned away by the most disrespectful staff I've ever encountered. It felt like discrimination. I use a walking stick, having recently suffered a stroke. Then I asked for a baggage cart. A staff member said the hotel had no carts. Another employee, saw my bags at the curb and told me the rooms were too small to fit my bags. I asked if they could store anything and was rudely answered - no- A manager came forth and told me to find another hotel. He lied, telling me that hes refunded my account. I left and when I went to book another Uber my iphone died. When I went back inside the lobby, two staff intercepted me saying only hotel guests were allowed inside. A MOST HIDDEOUS EXPERIENCE!Show More
