I don...We booked this hotel as part of our 40th wedding anniversary celebrations and this type of accommodation is normally well out of our price range, but we pushed the boat out due to the occasion! I don’t know if my expectations were too high, but it’s the little things that let it down - a visible brown stain in the toilet u bend, the fresh water facilities being taken off our floor and not replaced, a lift going out of order and still being out of order two days later. Things I would normally just accept as part and parcel of running a large hotel, but because of the price charged I expected better. Positives are the hotel is clean and well decorated and the staff are super friendly and efficient. Nalin was particularly helpful on our check in and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to all the attractions. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and made some great memories, but I think the hotel is living on past glories and should reconsider their prices. Or bring their standards back up to where they need to be for the price.Show More

The service is truly outstanding—staff are always professional, friendly, and ready to help with anything you need. The location is unbeatable. Being right in Trafalgar Square means you can walk to many of London’s main attractions, museums, theatres, and great restaurants. It simply doesn’t get better than this if you want to be in the heart of the city. Another thing I love is that every time I return, I notice new improvements and features. The hotel keeps evolving and investing in guest comfort, which shows how well it is managed. A special mention also goes to Boyds Brasserie, located inside the hotel, where breakfast is also served. The atmosphere is elegant and the food is excellent. Additionally, Italian restaurant 50 Kalò is a must-try—fantastic flavors and a great dining experience with an amazing service. I will definitely keep returning. Highly recommended!Show More

The room was larger than others we have had in London with a generous bathroom. Buffet breakfast was good, £28pp, but be aware on Sundays it starts later at 7.30am with no hot food until 8am, but later on the day we were there because they lost their serving trays! There is a guest only lounge which was very nice, with a range of coffees and teas from an auto machine. Ice and chilled water was available on every floor, with free bottles. An odd thing we discovered was that (in our room at least) the aircon unit was actually under our bed, it hummed, hardly noticeable, but still there . Check in was very good, a special mention to Nalin who was most helpful after our long trip from Australia.Show More

We were on the 4th floor, there was plaster, exposed wall and bits of broken wall on the carpet in the hallway next to our room. We stayed one night and was trying to enjoy a Sunday morning lay in, but there was maintenance work being completed outside the room. I appreciate work needs to be done but probably not on weekend morning. The restaurant looks impressive and is nice, though service was slow as was the food coming out. We weren't offered a second drink and couldn't get attention to order one. It wasn't busy and they offered a pre theatre set menu, which I would have reservations about ordering due to the length of time it took for food to arrive. The espresso martini was goodShow More
