Do you want to feel like you’re staying at a rundown airport hotel in Ohio in 1994, but pay 10 times the cost? Do you want to have a non-functioning toilet for your whole stay? Do you want to have a non-functioning toilet for your whole stay? Check out this hotel! We stayed three nights over marathon weekend. About the only good thing I can say about this hotel is that most of the staff is pleasant. The hotel and rooms are a disaster. Our toilet did not work properly. The hotel has slow elevators and rooms that haven’t been painted or updated since Bill Clinton was in office. Attached photos show the peeling paint, stains and general disrepair of the room. We asked multiple times to have our toilet fixed so that it flushed properly and maintenance came each time and it never was fixed to a fully functional toilet. The TV and phone in our room didn’t work on arrival either (TV was fixed, phone never was). Housekeeping also entered the room multiple times without knocking properly or after being told we didn’t need housekeeping that day. Unless you have zero other options, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Take a look at my Google history, I mainly leave positive reviews and don’t take this one lightly. I sure there will be a generic response from the manager below.Show More

There’s a CVC near by, l...The location on 40th is fantastic for Midtown family visitors who are walkers—a block from Brant Park, across from Mexicue (a good thing for me), and a short walk to Broadway. There’s a CVC near by, lots of casual food spots, and it’s a safe neighborhood. Doable walk up to Rockefeller Center and MoMA. The hotel is a tad dated in spots but fine. Staff, from the desk clerk to the housekeeper, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room clean, beds very comfortable, refrigerator, K-cup coffee in the room, lots of channels on a TV that worked. Be patient with elevators and good luck figuring out if they are going up or down. I will happily stay at this hotel again. (Warning—Room 204 handicap accessible room had NO view, as in NO natural light at all coming from outside. Good black out curtains to keep out the 24/7 floodlights over the HVAC equipment but still a bit disconcerting :)Show More
