The hotel is 15-20 mins walk from Kings Cross or there is a No 63 bus outside the station to the hotel. On arrival it was a bit hectic as clearly a busy hotel however check in was ok apart from not re...The hotel is 15-20 mins walk from Kings Cross or there is a No 63 bus outside the station to the hotel. On arrival it was a bit hectic as clearly a busy hotel however check in was ok apart from not registering our card so we could not charge anything to our room. Walking to the hotel through the day was fine but once it was dark it felt slightly intimidating with a few bunches of youths hanging around in small gangs. We booked a premium room with two double beds which was quite comfortable but they never restocked tea, coffee or biscuits at any point during our 3 night stay. There was a bottle of complimentary water in the room and a notice informing us if we had forgot anything such as razor,toothbrushes etc they can provide free of charge. We got shower caps sent to our room. The cleaning of our room was done daily and to a good standard and a great walk-in shower was appreciated. Breakfast was manic and loud and none of the staff spoke to you unless you approached them for something, no small talk on the menu. The breakfast food was okay just the usual fayre but the omelettes had very little taste. I have never stayed at a hotel where there was so little interaction from the staff which included reception, everyone seemed far to busy to say good morning or engage asking how are you today or are you enjoying your stay. The hotel was soulless but met our needs for a brief stay in the capital.Show More

We chose this property due to t...The Crowne Plaza Kings Cross is a very convenient location for traveling around in Central London, walkable, busses and train all make moving around highly comfortable. We chose this property due to the relatively larger rooms and we weren't disappointed. Especially having seen some other room sizes at properties with similar prices. The hotel offers good amenities and the housekeeping is available daily as well on call. We got a high floor and the lifts operated very efficiently with hardly any wait times. The staff is highly courteous from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant folks. VENU (Bartender) was also very knowledgeable and suggested us some great local beers and drinks to try. He also shared with us some good nearby restaurant and vibe areas (walkable for a Saturday night) while we had a couple beers there. Good time spent overall at this property and it can be great choice for families. I would stay here again based on location alone. The pricing is mid range for the dates we booked here.Show More

Grilled Salmon the second night). A particular appreciation for one of the restaurant's team members: Vaishnav. He was extremely kind and professional! I felt really welcomed and taken care of. The service style was top notch : the way Vaishnav escorted me to my table, served the drink, and handed over the bill was really the standard of gastronomic restaurants in Europe. I really appreciated the attention and the care. Big appreciation for the rest of the restaurant staff too who waited my table those two nights. They were both very kind and smiley. That really makes a big difference after a long day of work!Show More
