This location is a hidden gem and tucked away in the middle of tons of restaurants, stores including activities. It is not extremely expensive, the rooms are nice and clean. I love the hardwood floors because you don't have to worry about "unseen bug issues" or mildew concerns. The pool looked fresh and inviting. There is a small fee for parking, pets and amenities but I don't think that is a major issue because the rate of the room is FANTASTIC! I went out for the evening and when I returned there was a security sign to let you know you had to check in. The security guard was nice, verified my room and I went to my room. It let me feel extra safe because it is off the main street and this ensured me that random people couldn't walk on the property. It also shows that the owner cares enough about his clients to add the extra safety measure. The noise is normal from the hotel and the surrounding residential community. It's Hollywood and its off a busy street but I slept great!!Show More

The odor was extremely bad in which LAFD was called upon and responded to rule out a potential gas leak. The LAFD determined the scent was not a natural gas leak but definitely concerning. Not only were we impacted but our neighbor was also affected by this scent. Later, after further investgation we learned that the heavily toxic odor was coming from the lower rooms. These rooms are currently being remodeled. Not sure if the sewer exhaust wasnt safely blocked but the scent was toxic and unbearable. Sadly, the front desk clerk blamed the scent on skunks. Let me be clear, this was not Skunks. I hope the owner takes this seriously and tries to determine if any toxins are being released from those rooms. Please. This is at the cost of peoples health. Its important to mention, while going through this ordeal, this hotels health permit expired in June of 2025. We stayed here 10/10/25. With the disturbing odor I developed a headache forcing me to check out early. Rather than receiving a full nights rest, I had to wake up out of concern for my health and inhalation of this unknown odor, and exit quickly. I asked for a full refund but then they gave me the run around. I was told to contact booking.com to receive a refund. When I did, booking.com told me to have the hotel refund me. Booking.com told me once the hotel receives the wired funds from them it should then be refunded to me. The front desk staff member assured me my refund would be issued once the manager returns to work on Monday, because they only refund Mon- Friday. Wierd. What a horrible experience. Maybe sometimes shopping for value isnt always worth it, especially when it comes to your health.Show More
