I always go to the same Hilton in London but decided to change for once and boy did i regret that. Welcome was good and location opposite the tube is great but the positives stop there. I was happy to...I always go to the same Hilton in London but decided to change for once and boy did i regret that. Welcome was good and location opposite the tube is great but the positives stop there. I was happy to be upgraded to a suite but little did i know what was in store. A dark and dreary room with no proper lighting. One big floor lamp that i wanted to move so that i could actually see to do my make up but it was broken..... The room is poorly laid out with a table right in front of you as you open the door. You have to manoeuvre between a pillar and the table or under the staircase to reach a sofa that has seen better days and housekeeping hadn't even bothered putting the cushions back on properly after it served as a sofa bed. A small desk can be found in the room but you can't work from it because it has been covered in coffee and tea making facilities. Dark wooden stairs lead to a huge bedroom but somehow they still had to push the bed up to the wall so that there isn't room for a bedside table on either side of the bed. The wardrob hanging space has been stuck in a tiny area leaving just 6 inches of proper hanging space in a room for 4 people....... Crazy. Again it was really dark and depressing. Nowhere were there proper lights. The bath room was the same. Seriously buy some proper LEDs so people can see. The worst was yet to come though on my second night. When i turned the dim lights out i could see a light shining brightly under the connecting door or at least what i assumed was a connecting door. The irony was it was shining far brighter than any light in the room. But at 3am i was startled awake by a loud noise in the adjoining room. It sounded like someone banging on metal pipes and was quite frankly scary. Then there was running, doors slamming. Needless to say i never got back to sleep and had a bad morning at an important meeting. When i got up in the morning and was dressed i decided to open the connecting door and discovered it was actually directly onto a corridor leading to stairs. Presumably it was a fire escape but what their staff were doing in there at 3am making noise i do not know. I told front desk when i left but i was met by a rather disinterested blank stare and a half hearted sorry. It's funny because i am usually sent an email after a stay asking me how it was but this hotel didn't ask. I guess they don't care. And i'm a Diamond Hilton member....I won't be back and would advise anyone to not stay hereShow More

The room was bright and quite spacious compared to majority of rooms in UK. The location was superb really like 200 m from Gloucester Station and Tesco Express just across the station. The location was superb really like 200 m from Gloucester Station and Tesco Express just across the station. Very near the bus station. And one of my day trip bus even dropped off in front the hotel. Gloucester St was not so busy station so to commute from to very convenient Many restaurants surrounding the traffic light off the station. Very convenient and quite a walk distance for Sainsbury’s local. Located in Kensington gives the feeling of Safe environment. Walking distance to Kensington Garden and three Museums. Including Natural History of Museum just only less than 5 minutes. The room was very clean and nice. L'hotel ha sicuramente un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, perché le camere non sono eccessivamente piccole e l'ambiente è pulito. La colazione offre una vasta scelta di salato che viene sempre rifornito, oltre a yoghurt, lievitati dolci e la macchina per i pancakes; inoltre gli orari non sono restrittivi, permettendo agli ospiti di concedersi un po' di sonno in più.Show More
