had a king suite with River View. it was very roomy and had everything we needed. staff were wonderful and always friendly and eager to help. whole hotel was clean and modern. Will definitely be recommending and returning, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

10/10 Would stay here again. Downtown Windsor right on the water.
Was attending a concert at the Chrysler Theatre. Excellent location. Parking connected to the hotel. Were able to get to the theater from indoors as well. The restaurant had great food and excellent service (both dinner and breakfast). Pricy, but worth the money. The beds were soooo comfortable. Would do it again.

10/10 A jewel in the city of Windsor!
Apart from the fact that it is one of the Hilton’s properties (and hence comfort is expected), the location of the property was matchless. The room we selected was facing the river and Detroit, and it was the perfect selection I should say!

Hotel is right by the river so you have a great view of the Detroit skyline. Staff were all great. Parking is very close by to the hotel.

Great location. Our view of Detroit across the river was one of our favorite hotel views ever. Easy to get to, easy access to riverfront.
Staff were top notch. I asked for restaurant recommendations and received many excellent suggestions. When i advised staff we were travelling from Australia and this would be a one of experience for us, they ensure we had one of their best views

Good location- near all the action. Spacious room with great view to the riverfront and the Detroit skyline. Large bathroom and walk-in shower. Strong Wi-Fi. Very friendly and helpful staff- we would like to highly praise Tunde at the reception counter for his professionalism, politeness and for all the help he offered us during our stay!

As we were attending the wedding and were coming out of town, we requested an early check in upon reservation.
We were pleased that we got into the room 2 hours ahead of an official check in , which allowed us to relax, freshen up and get ready
Room was bigger than expected, spacious, clean and welcoming.
Extra bonus - an exceptional view from the window.

The location, central location. The room was clean & large. By the Detroit river. The staff was helpful and nice. The restaurant on site was nice. I learn that there's a bus station behind the building and It offers bus services for shuttle services to United States or to Canada. They do have a mini store & a micro wave for your use.

This was an expensive hotel compared with other alternatives in the similar downtown Windsor location. Also, despite this increased price, breakfast was not included. All other alternatives I reviewed included breakfast for a lower rate. I chose Doubletree based on reputation but I will not stay here again, despite the comfortable room.
