Extreme noisy rooms, you can't sleep over the whole night. No employee identified me as a Hyatt member. Give me two rooms at 3rd floor and 8th floor after I asked to be at same floor upon check-in. Asked for changing rooms because noise and poor infra but they refused at beginning. Raised concerns to the manager before check-out next day morning but I got the following response with full arrogance and no sorry at all: "You should not accept the first two rooms since you already asked to be at same floor. " "Our infra is kind of old-fashioned. That condition is quite common." "You should appreciate us because you are wrong on the room change request, we were fully booked last night and we still changed one room for you." This is ridiculous and not acceptable at all. The worst, even not one of, Hyatt hotel I ever stayed as a member over 10 years all over the world.Show More

Every evening walking to our room, we were hit with both marijuana and cigarette smoke smell. Although our room itself initially smelled ok, over time it would seep in as well. They clearly aren't doing a good job of charging guests who violate the no smoking policy to discourage this behavior. We had to open the windows in order to air out the space, which of course just increased the noise. Not the hotels fault, but there is construction going on immediately next to the hotel beginning each day at around 6am. It looks like they really just started, so be aware if you are planning to stay there in the next 6 months or so. We had requested a refrigerator as the website said they were available upon request. Upon checkout, without any prior notification or anything posted in the FAQs or in any other materials, we were charged a "refrigerator rental" fee. I've never been charged for a mini fridge rental in my life, and it wasn't even a good fridge--it was clearly a converted mini bar fridge that you couldn't even stand a water bottle up right in. Just an astounding money grab when it was just a fridge already located in the room (they didn't bring it in special for us).Show More

We had a cancellation from our AIRBNB the day before, and so we were in desperate need of a place, and luckily, DREAM at Midtown had a room availability. We were given two water bottles and everything after. We had the king-size room and it was very spacious. The bathroom was great. The only downside of the bathroom was the shower and it had a half-glass door, and so we felt like the water was coming out. When you walk in, it feels welcoming, and the decor is beautiful. The hotel was close to everything, and there were a few subway stops nearby. There was a restaurant next door with room service and a bar next door and alongside a rooftop. We didn't utilize the bars, but we ate at the restaurant. Serafina was mid. It didn't taste extraordinary, but it was horrible. The restaurant was overall a 5/10. They have room service, but we decided to call and do a pick up since it was next door. The room service was 20% gratuity and a $ 7/9 room service fee. Con: Construction started every morning of our stay right around 6 am. We weren't warned about this, but it was too bad, but it wasn't the greatest. Overall, it was a great experience and stay, and I would give it a 8/10.Show More
