And her colleagues at every level of the sta...What a pleasant surprise Even Hotel was, especially Manager Bridget Che. She couldn’t have been more helpful, professional and all around accommodating. And her colleagues at every level of the staff (front desk, housekeeping — Kudos to this often under-appreciated “invisible” set of hard working women — maintenance/heavy cleaning personnel) were universally cheerful, polite, happy to help and “own” our needs and go above and beyond. Example: when I inquired about how to use the business center to print a form I needed, the gentleman on duty at the front desk didn’t just give me instructions, he had me email the form to him and he went off and printed it for me while I attended to a phone call. They were also helpful orienting me to the public transit. Very clean facilities throughout. Very comfortable bed. The room was functionally appointed without being too minimalist. All equipment was in good working order. Location, location, location!!! Terrific proximity to public transit, places to grab a quick bite and so forth. I did not try it, but there is a parking garage directly adjacent to the Even Hotel. Would I stay again? Resounding YES.Show More

Great location to explore Manhattan, with most sights walkable and grand central station being only a few minutes away, to easily access the further afield tourist attractions. The hotel itself sits quietly on the street being a modern design with a restrained frontage. Our room was spacious and clean , with a large comfortable bed and a nice quality bathroom. Mordern in design with a nod to fitness having a fixed exercise post incorporating resistance bands. Bit of a niche amenity and looked little used. Some coat hooks would have been much more useful. The hanging wardrobe space was quite mean , longer stays could be awkward. Coffee machine in the room and effective blackout blinds, can be noisy with traffic and other quests easily heard. But normal city hotel problems really. Reception is on the 2nd floor as well as a small bar,food,work area . Usual city prices but convenient for water and snacks. There is a pharmacy/mini supermarket literally 200 yards away to stock your room fridge. There is also a plethora of restaurants and cafes nearby. All in all a well positioned nice hotel and reasonably priced( for NY ).Show More

I was traveling with a friend ave when we went to check in, they had us down for a single king size bed. While I've known this friend almost as long as my husband, we weren't ready to take the relationship to the next level (haha). The front desk staff was awesome and, even though they had to juggle some things, they got us a room with two double beds. Throughout the stay the staff was so helpful, finding info for us, helping us with some unexpected first aid and just being generally super kind abs helpful. The hotel and room were clean, upgraded, and comfortable, not in the middle of a super touristy area (which was perfect for us because it was quiet and we don't mind uber or public transport), and had great amenities. I would 100% stay here again. Kudos to the staff for helping to make our long weekend a success!Show More

Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the quality! No kettle in the room just a pod machine with pods( 4) replenished each day, 3 coffee 1 tea. They take a security deposit from you think it was 450 dollars and then take almost 200 dollars for a city tax?? Didn’t even know what that’s for! Never explained what this was but when we arrived an America lady had spoken to them and they made it disappear for her! I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of my partner so we ended up paying it. Think next time we visit I will pick a hotel with no hidden chargesShow More
