In September, I traveled to NYC for business and was booked the Hotel Le Soleil for the evening. I had never stayed there before and after a very long, exhausting workday, I walked over to the hotel.
From beginning to end, the experience was nothing less than perfect.
The lobby is gorgeous and there is a beautiful, library like seating area in the back. There is a lovely restaurant, too, but I did not have a chance to dine there. Dispensers of cold, delicious fruit water await your arrival (and was very refreshing after a long, hot day in New York City).
The gentleman at reception asked if William had helped book the reservation (through our corporate account) and to my surprise I was told that I would be staying in a PENTHOUSE SUITE!!! I can honestly say that William, who I have never had the pleasure to meet in person, made me feel incredibly special by this small act.
I took the elevator to my floor, opened the door to the suite, and immediately wished I could live there. The perfect soft lighting, tasteful decor, windows showing an amazing view of the city, a modern bathroom with soft bathrobes and a bedroom with the most comfortable bed. In addition, the suite has a large, fold out leather couch with extra bedding, a dining area, and a complete kitchen set up with the appliances and kitchen accessories to make a Thanksgiving dinner. I was astounded. It was so beautiful that I literally never wanted to leave. My only regret is that I was only staying for one night!
After a relaxing evening in the suite and a fabulous night's sleep I, unfortunately, had to check out. I would recommend the Hotel Le Soleil to anyone staying in New York City. It is the perfect Midtown location, the staff is excellent, and the hotel is wonderful. I cannot wait to go back and stay there again!
