But I want everyone to know, that our experience here has been the finest hotel experience, this 60 year old, well-travelled executive, has ever had. Juan and the team, from Fabio who manages the restaurant and has provided the most encouraging pat on the shoulder every morning before breakfast, to Anna and Xiema who have not only giving me the highest level of service throughout the day along with their gracious and kind support to Tiago and Samantha who have served me my late night cocktail after a long day at the hospital - they have all provided a high level of professionalism while showing the truest, deepest, level of care for their guests - a level that i have never experienced before. My wife and I found ourselves in the middle of a medical emergency while staying in Barcelona. I had to travel at the last minute and I was literally blessed by the Lord to have arrived at the Sheraton Four Points Barcelona. Juan and the team have treated me/us like family and have supported me and my wife in every way possible! While I think people and the way they treat one another are the most important aspect of any business interaction, I also want everybody to know that this hotel and it's restaurant are some of the finest facilities in Barcelona end have out-performed in every way. If I was able to yell from the mountain tops, I would encourage anybody from any place in the world to stay at this hotel!Show More

What a delight this hotel was. It is conveniently located on Diagonal Avenue and on the train line so that you can easily get almost anywhere you would like. Diagonal Avenue has loads a large pedestrian lane in the middle of the street making it easy for people watching, sitting and enjoying a snack, or doing shopping, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel itself was fabulous. Safe, central, and full of English speaking employees who are eager to help with whatever is needed. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety, quality ingredients, and something for everyone. They also offered Mimosas or specialty baked goods but this may have just been because it was Elite Appreciation week. For elite members, breakfast was free and included. One day it was raining and the front desk loaned an umbrella for us. They also provided information about how to get to various places we wanted to see. On a side street they have tons of various kinds of restaurants, empanada stands, grocery stores, Tapas places, etc. A few blocks away was a great grocery/department store called Carrefour. It had great takeout, bakery items, groceries, liquor/wine, and full department store items. What a treat this store was at GREAT prices! Near this store were many stores, fastfood places, an underground mall and Starbucks. And it has free wifi. They made everything easy and comfortable as well as providing a large discount on their in-house restaurant for elite members. When you are in a foreign country with questionable Spanish it was like being at home with people wanting to help. Do not even hesitate--stay at this hotel!Show More

Breakfast is great and generous, rooms are clean and equipped with all comfort. But the real plus is the warmhearted touch of the personnel. Unfortunately, I fell sick on the day of check-out, I could barely remain seated and I asked the reception if they had a place for me to be able to rest while waiting for my plane in the evening. Prompty, Paula offered me a couch and prepared a Camilla tea, to calm down my stomach cramps, exactly like my mom would have done for me :-) After few minutes, she came back to me and offered to stay few more hours in bed... this allowed me to recharge my body in order to catch my evening flight. I was blown away by this gesture, as it never happened to me before. Four Points management team, please give Paula a raise :-) she managed to not turn my stay into a nightmare, by eventually fainting on the street and missing my flight.Show More

The hotel is in the commercial are and about 25 minutes from the centre (La Ramblers) by walking and metro. You can get a tram to the metro from outside the hotel. Reception was welcoming and they acknowledged my status and provided an upgrade to a higher floor. We had a comfort room, which was adequate for our stay. The bed was very comfortable with nice linen. The room was compact and had just a king bed, desk and chair. There is no table or relaxing chair. The floor is panelled and not carpet, that is kept clean, as is the whole room. The decor of the room is quite dark and not my choice The bathroom was clean, albeit compact, which required the door closed to enable movement within. The shower is good, but very narrow that is not helped by the safety handle on the wall. We had breakfast, which was plentiful and varied. We also dined here in the evening on arrival, have good tapas. Overall, a comfortable but compact stay. I would return if I come back to Barcelona.Show More
