It’s extremely noisy at night, and the overall experienc...The location is convenient — right in Times Square and close to many tourist attractions — but that’s really the only positive thing I can say. It’s extremely noisy at night, and the overall experience was disappointing from start to finish. We had requested a lower floor because we had read that the elevators often don’t work, but when we arrived, we were told anything below the 5th floor would be too noisy. We took a room on the 5th floor first, but it was freezing cold and the thermostat didn’t work. When we asked to change rooms, the only option available was on the 13th floor. The new room had an old radiator that barely worked. When we asked for extra blankets, we were told they didn’t have enough and could only give us one extra sheet — not even a proper blanket. Even on the 13th floor, the noise was unbearable at night; we could hear other guests opening and closing doors constantly, and we barely slept. The room itself was uncomfortable: the double bed was very small, the mattress was terrible, and the door wouldn’t close properly without force. The windows couldn’t be opened at all. To make matters worse, three out of four elevators were out of service during our stay, and since we were on the 13th floor, taking the stairs wasn’t really an option. We ended up checking out early after just one night and moving to another hotel. On the bright side, the concierge and management were understanding and accommodating about our decision. Honestly, this place should rebrand itself as a motel and charge half the price for what it’s offering.Show More

The first room we checked into didn't have a desk that was in the photos. I was told not all rooms are like the pictures. A very nice girl named Analinda moved us to a new room. This room had a de...The first room we checked into didn't have a desk that was in the photos. I was told not all rooms are like the pictures. A very nice girl named Analinda moved us to a new room. This room had a desk but was right across from the elevator and the TV didn't work. Ding, ding, ding from the elevator is what we heard all night. And one of the windows was missing a curtain. When I asked for ice I was told the ice machine was on the 7th floor. When I asked for an ice bucket I was told they would send one up. An hour later I was told they don't have any. There are signs saying there are ice machines on floors 4, 7, 10 & 15. The machines on floors 4, 7 & 15 don't work and the door to the machine in floor 10 was locked. This hotel is old, there is bad and peeling paint everywhere, the hall carpets are stained, the elevators are scratched up and tired. The rooms are minimal without any drawers except for the tiny drawer in the desk. The house keeping carts are in the halls all night long. The only good thing I can say is the rooms and bathrooms are clean. For $250/night I expect better accomodations and a more updated hotel that better matches the pictures on their website.Show More
