Likes: the staff were very helpful and courteous. The size of the room was good. The house was located on a bus route to get into the city centre. We felt that we could come and go as we pleased. ...Likes: the staff were very helpful and courteous. The size of the room was good. The house was located on a bus route to get into the city centre. We felt that we could come and go as we pleased. Beverages were available in the dining room 24 hours per day. Dislikes: the owners appeared to be living on past glories and they were saving on costs. In our bathroom, 3 lights had had their bulbs removed, no headboard on the bed, damaged decor not repaired, chair seat cushions used as cushions for the settee, there was a notice saying that if you take shampoo from the bathroom you would be charged (we were paying 400 Canadian dollars per night and we stayed six nights). No greeting from a human being, all key codes to enter the house and room. The bathroom looked as though it had been installed in the 1970s and hadn’t been updated. Very noisy road in a residential area, lacking amenities such as shops and cafes. We don’t recommend this accommodation, better accommodation is in plentiful supply in Vancouver. Try the Georgian Court hotel as a comparison.Show More
