The hotel itself is a little peace of calm away from the mainland, it is a family run hotel which has very high standards.
We had 8 wonderful days there. The breakfast was delicious with lots of local produce and freshly baked cakes. Enzo was always was on hand to assist with our coffees in the morning and provide us with anything we wanted for breakfast. He was a little ray of sunshine in the mornings.
We also ate at the restaurant a couple of times throughout our stay and the food was absolutely delicious and the attention to detail was exceptional.
We also used the spa which was very well equipped and was a little peace of heaven for us to chill and relax.
Our room was lovely, lots of wardrobe and cupboard space and was cleaned everyday, although if we had had a choice we would have preferred a seaview, but we booked the holiday quite late so I would think the rooms with a view had already been taken.
The staff that we met were exceptional, unfortunately, I do not know all the names of the staff but would particularly mention Martika who was so helpful to us throughout our stay, and was an absolute star. Carmella who also worked on reception was helpful in booking a trip and the car for us, Antonio who drove the shuttle bus and dropped us off at Ischia port and the bus stops on many occasions. The buses are frequent, however, can become crowded at some points in the day, but they are easy to use and we had no problems.
I would also mention the hotel shuttle bus was excellent, we used this a lot as the hotel is located up a rather steep hill and we were grateful for the service, this was a bonus for us.
We will most definitely return, to the island and to this hotel, the island is beautiful with so many interesting things to see and do. The Negomba thermal baths are a must. We were so incredibly lucky to be able to celebrate our 30th anniversary in such a wonderful place. This island and hotel are very special.Show More
