This hotel was actually more pleasant than expected after choosing it primarily to have shuttle service from the airport. We were kindly greeted and went right to our room, which was clean comfortable...This hotel was actually more pleasant than expected after choosing it primarily to have shuttle service from the airport. We were kindly greeted and went right to our room, which was clean comfortable and updated. I noticed outdoor space/patio was available to all on the end of another floor and that the lobby offered opportunities which to sit and or visit. Because of the nature of our visit a long layover we primarily rested and showered. The hotel itself was quite busy with a variety of other guests some noisier than others but generally our sleep was undististurbed. It does have a good restaurant across the street and other food choices but the location is close to the airport and therefore the street is very busy so you are subject to traffic and traffic noise, making it not as pleasant or walkable especially if you have young children. On the positive side there is a McDonalds and Starbucks flanking the hotel on the same side of the street. I would recommend this hotel If you are looking for a hotel that offers the LAX shuttle and a place to sleep, shower and go out for a long day in the city, however I would recommend another Hilton property elsewhere in the city for longer visits and a calmer more pleasant stay that shows Los Angeles in a better light.
