We stayed here from 29th November until 6th December. We got married while we were here. The hotel was so lovely, we had a room with the most perfect view of the Empire State Building. The room itse...We stayed here from 29th November until 6th December. We got married while we were here. The hotel was so lovely, we had a room with the most perfect view of the Empire State Building. The room itself was lovely, big comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, coffee machine, fridge and microwave. The cleaners did an excellent job of keeping our room clean. There is no noise from outside or in the corridors (we expected some as we were directly opposite the elevators in room 2406 but there literally was none). The staff were friendly and helpful, and arranged our car to take us to City Hall on our wedding day in our dresses and suits in a very lovely car. We were also able to leave our cases for the day after we checked out so that we could continue to enjoy our stay in the city before we needed to leave for the airport. Location wise, you couldn’t ask for better. It’s about 20 steps away from a subway station and directly opposite Macy’s so you can get anywhere quickly and easily and are in walking distance of the main Midtown attractions. As with most hotels there is a security deposit which is held on a card ($50 per day) and this was returned immediately on check out. My only constructive criticism’s would be 1) that more coffee pods are needed. There are only 2 per day (1 each) and we definitely needed more. We did ask but there wasn’t any extra given, and 2) that hangers for putting your coats on the back of the door or somewhere would be beneficial as there isn’t really anywhere to store coats except the back of the chair, which if they’re wet isn’t ideal. Neither of these would change our opinion of the hotel; and we would definitely stay again.Show More
