We had to wait a long time each time we used them. They’re also very small, which made it difficult when carrying luggage or when other guests were using them too. Many people had to let elevators pass due to being full of other guests. There is literally a sign in the hallways next to the elevator call button that says “please allow additional time during peek hours” -Our first room on the 5th floor had several issues. There were hairs on the bathroom floor, and the floor had dirty shoe prints (like it had been mopped and then walked on before it dried). One of the beds had a corner that was literally soaking wet. We called the front desk and were moved to a different room. While we were waiting for the elevator to go get our new room keys, we saw a housekeeping employee sitting in the hallway by the elevators. She had a small mop (like a Swiffer) and a small bag of cleaning supplies. She was leaning against a table and scrolling on her phone when we arrived and was still there doing the same thing when we came back to the elevators to get our second room. After we had waited more than four minutes for the elevator, she looked up and said, “Well, time to go home… these can take a while,” and then walked down the stairs. -Our second room on the 8th floor also had hairs on the bathroom floor. Both rooms had beds that felt very hard and sagged in the middle. We were very disappointed. Thinking back to the housekeeping staff in the hall with only a mop and small bag of cleaning supplies… the building is very slim and there was only about 10 -12 rooms on the floor. I don’t remember seeing a storage room and I don’t know how they could have any kind of cleaning cart like you usually see at hotels. This begs the question, do they vacuum? Remember, she only had a swiffer mop and grocery type bag of cleaning supplies. I could be wrong. I stay exclusively at Hilton hotels for work travel and have never had an experience like this. We ended up canceling at the front desk and walking 5 blocks with our luggage to a different hotel. It was not Hilton brand.Show More

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We have never had a worse experience and we visit NYC 2+ times a year. They couldn’t find us a room, so we waited with our three kids (and with many others) in the lobby for 2 hours...DO NOT STAY HERE!! We have never had a worse experience and we visit NYC 2+ times a year. They couldn’t find us a room, so we waited with our three kids (and with many others) in the lobby for 2 hours. Finally around 7pm, my husband told them we would just look for another hotel and they magically found us a room. It took us another 30 minutes to get into an elevator to get up to our room. We had to call down to the front desk to ask for something and they said they’d bring it up. An hour passed, so my husband walked down to the front desk to ask, and they said housekeeping would send it up in 10 min. No one ever came. On top of that, our toilet wouldn’t flush. Once again, my husband tried calling, no one ever came. So, we couldn’t use our hotel room toilet for the entire weekend we stayed in our room. I am a Hilton Honors member and usually try to stay Hilton, but I won’t ever again. We could’ve saved money by staying elsewhere, but we knew Hilton was a good brand of hotels plus the location was what we were hoping for. However, this was not worth one penny we spent.
