From the minute we ar...The Hilton Garden Inn Financial was a wonderful surprise. I visit NYC frequently and rarely stay downtown, but wanted to be close to train lines to Brooklyn Heights this trip. From the minute we arrived staff was welcoming and recognized my Diamond Status. We upgraded to a partial water view which was nice, light and airy. The room was huge by NYC standards (three times the size of our dismal room at FIDI around the corner - UGH!) and really well equipped with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. So well equipped that I have recommended it to clients and am returning in March for a 12 night stay. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t what we were looking for, but there are restaurants everywhere nearby and staff recommended Patisserie Quotidian nearby. We also visited the Fraunces Tavern and museum (PBS American Revolution) and Smithsonian Museum a stones throw away. This is the only hotel that ranks itself as 3 star that we have stayed in NYC but is so much better than other 4 star.Show More
