We were on the 10th floor and were worried about noise from the club, as we had read the reviews previously. However we did not hear noise from the club the whole time we stayed and it did not disturb our sleep at all. The check-in staff were very helpful and polite. We really appreciated the little extras (e.g. cinema tickets) and feel it really added to the experience. We were always created by the front desk staff which made us feel special. The location is great, walkable to a lot of sights and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and stylish. We enjoyed having drinks in the bar most nights. And the views were great from our room and from the rooftop. My only wish would be that there was part of the rooftop held for hotel guests in the evening, as it was a shame that we couldn't have a calm drink on the rooftop due to the nightclub. We enjoyed the open mic night on our first night and it was really nice to hear that the hotel is involved with so many events like this. We did have an issue where the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for 2 consecutive nights. We don't feel like the staff reconciled this fairly, as they didn't follow up or check-in with us after this. Which is a shame given how much we enjoyed the rest of the stay! Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in LA. It offered everything we needed and provided an enjoyable experience.Show More

The pros of staying at this hotel is that Bidgette at the front desk is very pleasant and a great host. Location is perfect. The first night I was booked into a suite that was amazing. The cons. The general manager on duty is kind of rude and unfriendly. I might have misunderstood her but in a way suggested for me to go to another hotel when I was checking out of my original room to checkin to my new reservation. Second don’t ever let them book you into room 311. It’s a dungeon with no view and barely any sunlight. It’s also next to a noisy hVAC system. Although I don’t expect to be upgraded all the time, I was shocked that I would be placed in the worst room in the hotel being that I am a lifetime titanium member. Lastly, the food and beverage credit associated with the daily destination fee was confusing given that I was still charged for my food order at the restaurant.Show More

The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space to store our things. We had great amenities in the room, including a black face cloth for removing makeup - what a game changer!!! We went up to the rooftop twice for both breakfast in the Terrace at Bar Lis, and for drinks in Bar Lis - such beautiful spots with insane views! The location was excellent too, we found it easy to get around by either walking or Uber/Lyft. The only downsides to my stay were not booking for longer, using the pool (it was stunning!) or booking a room with a view! If I come to L.A. again, I would definitely stay in The Hollywood Grande again.Show More
