The hotel is perfectly positioned for the local area and wider attractions, After a long haul flight arriving at the hotel quite late we received a warm and friendly welcome . Check in was easy and trouble free, I enquired about getting something to eat and was given options and clear directions to the local Pizza Hut around the corner and offered assistance if I needed it. The presentation of the room was clean and fresh with two Queen beds, the beds were comfy and provided and excellent night’s sleep, housekeeping were first class and the room was perfectly presented each evening we returned. Not knowing the area or what there was to see Michael gave us our own personal itinerary which gave us the ability to enjoy and appreciate the little time we had in LA. Michael advised us we could check our bags after checkout until we were ready to leave for LAX. Michael was on hand again offering any assistance on how to get transportation, the desired time to leave to arrive in time for our next international flight. From walking in to walking out we felt part of the Hotel family, from reception to house keeping everyone and everything was perfect. Just first class customer service all around, definitely will be returning with our wider family.Show More

There was a good fridge and even a microwave! The beds were incredibly comfy, we got a very good night's sleep especially considering we were near 3 hospitals. Didn't use the amenities but they looked good. There was a good range for breakfast from cereal to pastries to fruit, juices and hot drinks - all very tasty. As a Brit, would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room though. Good transport links nearby with the bus and metro - both very easy to get to. The best bit part were the staff! Michael and Phil, especially. So kind, understanding, caring and knowledgeable. They always greeted us with a smile and asked how we were and how our day had gone. They also gave plenty of recommendations, of which we took daily to enhance our LA experience. We would definitely stay here again.Show More

I think this was my 3rd time staying here. In the past I have never had a problem and enjoyed it. This time I was very embarrassed because I had family with me that had never stayed there. This time I was very embarrassed because I had family with me that had never stayed there. When we arrived, our room was muggy and had a gross smell, we were told there is no AC and they did give us a portable tower fan to cool the room down. They only gave us one roll of toilet paper, we had to ask for more (usually other places have at least one extra in the bathroom.) I almost slipped going down the stairs to the parking lot when it was raining and there were no signs out of slippery floors. And last when we woke up on our last day there was an ant infestation in our bathroom. They were everywhere and getting in our belongings. All over the shower and counters. Like I’ve said I never had a problem here in the past but I think I will look elsewhere in the future to stay. I had better hopes this time.Show More

The rooms lack blackout curtains, and with bright exterior lights shining directly through the windows, it felt like daylight inside the room throughout the entire night. The air conditioning system is outdated and extremely noisy—you’re forced to choose between having cool air with a loud, disruptive motor or turning it off entirely and sweltering. The toilet ran continuously throughout the night (ghost flushing), and the soundproofing is practically non-existent—every noise from the hallway was clearly audible inside the room. I didn’t get a single hour of quality sleep during my stay. While the price may be low, the lack of basic comfort makes it impossible to recommend. They also charge an extra $39/per day for parking.Show More
