Very hard t...My wife, 15 yr son, 20 yr son and myself went 11/22 thru 11/26. The Staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. The rooms were clean, and had queen size beds. Very hard to find in New York. 1 of the reasons we choose it. Also it was a few minute walk to time square. Perfectly located for us. We were tired from doing the tourist thing all day so we decided to eat at 1 of there restaurants, Friedman's. Great food but the kicker was we did not know they had singing servers. They were all amazing. Jay, our server super friendly and hell of a singer. A must if you are staying there. But make reservations. They get busy. We just got lucky and they got us a table within 5 minutes. Rooms are clean and spacious for being in New York. The Staff was always smiling or checking to see if we needed anything but not in a overbearing way. I met Danny Obrien the Director of Safety and Security who is a friendly and knowledge source. They had plenty of staff althrough the day and night so if we needed anything some one was always there answer our questions. Our next trip we were planing to stay around Chelsea but had such a great time and the way the staff treated us we will definitely stay there again next. Thank you for such a great stay. The rooms and service staff were professional, attentive as well as inviting. Moreover, the free breakfast at Freemans and free bottle of wine gave everything an added touch. I actually would like to focus this review / comment on a particular front desk staff member. The front desk were very friendly / helpful during my check so entire the process went well. However, the room was a bit too small as I live in a 5050 square foot home. So I returned to the front desk seeking a change. Stationed at the front desk was your staff member Dave . He greeted me and I explained my my situation. Next, Dave listened, asked key questions and provided possible solutions .Finally, I selected an available two bed room as my wife had joined me on this business trip. The process was seamless and exceeded the mission goals of the Edison Hotel and Triumph organization. Thank you Dave and the entire Edison Hotel staff for a wonderful stay in New York City.Show More
