Hotel Lazzari is not a conventional hotel where you walk into a lobby from the street and check in. It is a multi use building with reception on the second floor. I didn’t know that and had a hard tim...Hotel Lazzari is not a conventional hotel where you walk into a lobby from the street and check in. It is a multi use building with reception on the second floor. I didn’t know that and had a hard time finding the building. There is a plaque (one of a few) on the building next to the door. I also had a hard time entering the building. Someone who happened to live there was entering explained to me that I had to call the hotel. I was there earlier than usual check in time (around 11:30 am) so maybe during normal check in time you just have to buzz, I do not know. I don’t know if there is someone in reception all day long Looking back at the photos, I should have realized the above. I have been to Italy many times so ultimately it was not a problem but might be for anyone who needs conventional hotel services. My room was on the 5th floor overlooking Via Castelfiardo. There was a bit of banging noise in the morning. The room was adequate, clean, and the hotel is in a good location near a Metro and bus lines so once I figured it all out everything was fine.Show More
